I hope a bunch of the new chippers get a great deal! Another great sale from a respected member of the community. I know I am probably out on this one, although I said that last time and ended up with 1000 cash and 1000 WSOP set. Oops, oh well.

Let's give the newbies a 5 second head start if this is timed like the other sales.

Good luck guys!

I'm probably out for this one as well. I only really like the 2.00 chip.

With or without inlays?:ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

I suppose I'd pay an even larger premium if they were already removed. (y)

Is this going to be a Christmas sale, or is a date further in the future? Or tomorrow??

Yeah I paid 50% over face value
Not sure you guys are gonna get killed that bad. Look at what the snappers sold for in the Cleveland sale. If there are limited quantities of twos (and I've heard Cincinnati was a lot smaller) then it wouldn't shock me to see the $2's go for more.

Maybe but not likely. I don't see the demand being there in the same way for these over the Cleveland chips unless there are never before seen secondaries. Lots of chippers blew their wads on the Chiproom sale, it's closer to Christmas, and the spots on these chips aren't so great IMO. Mint 1s? maybe. We'll see what the pricing is and how he allows the high denoms to go...

I think I'll be a bit more reasonable on this one and just put a simple 600ct cash set together, not a ~2500chip set like Cleveland, lol

I don't see the $2 chip going for anywhere above face value. The current JACK casino has a great looking $2 chip that could just be harvested if people want to make a limit set.

And like others have stated, with the BG, Cleveland sale, Christmas, etc it will surprise me to see any premium for anything other the high denomination chips.

I won't be surprised to see the Chip room clearing out the rest of the $5's for .25 to .35 each and eventually the $1, $5, & $25's from this set being cleared out at the same price point down the line.

It is great for all of us having so many chips coming to market at one time!

And I think the $500 is awesome!

guys......seriously......this is too much for my blood pressure:eek: just when started to regret not having taken part in the original sale - bam a new one......:( this is just exciting.....

My wallet was sighing in relief after I missed out on a secondary horseshoe set.

Time to break it out again I guess!

My vote is for a time where the whole world is awake and has time to sign on here to bid - like 6pm Swiss time - would be noon eastern - 9am Cali - 11pm for our middle eastern friends - that would be such a statement that even today - foreign relations matter ;) [apologies for the political pun].

I'm just awestruck that everyone was right when we thought Cincinnati chips must've been bought by somebody since Jim got the Cleveland ones... hurray!!!!!!

Come on Todd, let us have some pictures to drool over while you figure everything out. It will make the wait a bit better!

I'm just impressed that someone was able to buy them and sit on them for three months. I don't know the going wholesale rate but 400,000 chips takes some serious scratch. There aren't a lot of people who have that kind of money laying around with no real urgency to recoup their investment. If I drained our savings account and shook down a few relatives I could probably buy the chips from a small casino but my wife would be on my butt daily until every single penny was paid back. Hell, wasn't Jim taking orders as he was driving to Cleveland to pick them up? I could be off by a few days but he sure didn't hold them long.

In fact, this is one reason why in a previous post I (wrongly) speculated that the Cincinnati chips were gone since they hadn't been heard of in so long.

Based upon Cleveland's structure and OH regulations there have gotta be some secondary's right???? Anxious for colors
