Hustler Casino Live Releases Investigation Report on Robbi Jade Lew (2 Viewers)

Ok, she after watching the vid twice, and reading a few of the post on page 1, combined with this thread, I don't need to go any further. She likely misread her hand, may have truly thought he "didn't have shit," but, either way I'm not buying the was cheating. She was probably flustered from him pushing her around, if that was the case, had a lapse in judgment when emotion takes over (who hasn't done that?) and said F it and decided she'd call and muck off she lost.

I can find several more likely scenarios than cheating. I never did see her shirt flutter, and it wasn't from a lack of staring!

My reply here would get me banned

Did that report (or the casino itself) ever address the possibility of cheating through the microphone pack?
The theory was that the guy in the control room (who has access to hole cards) also has control of people’s body mics. And so that guy could signal a player whether they’re ahead by muting their microphone, because that would turn off or on an LED indicator on that player’s pack.

What stands out most about that theory to me is that Krish is the one who posted it here - he floated that theory here the same night the hand happened. And of course he’s played in that game and knew some of the players involved.

I want to love Helmuth, but he dominates the table talk with the most annoying all about me bullshit. So bad.

Of course I'm not stating for a fact she cheated, but if you know all the info that went into the breakdown and her recent history it is absolutely reasonable to believe she could have been. People treating this like it's a crazy conspiracy theory is being completely disregarding of a lot of reasonably suspicious elements.

Has Bryan Sabisgal been located yet? He just disappeared, you know, the guy who worked inside the production room, had access to hole cards and took 15K off Robbi's stack the night in question, and then she said she wouldn't press charges against him, but after backlash from the poker world since it made her look even more guilty, she changed her tune.

Phil played as bad as imaginable tonight. They’re playing $100/200 and he uncharacteristically bought in deep - $300k.
He played for like 90 minutes, lost $60k, disappeared for a half hour, came back, stole 3 quick hands for $10k each, then on the 5th hand he caught KK. Limped, raise, reraise, he flatted, fold. Heads up the guy flopped the nut flush. Phil payed him on all 3 streets, including the river, which was the 4th suit, which phil didn’t have. He lost like $150k on that hand and immediately quit.

Just unreal - he caught at least 4 or 5 premiums and tried to trap them all. He won the minimum and lost the maximum and then quit the stream less than a few hours in.
Just sad.

He should stick to tournaments, he gets chewed up in cash games

Yes, but it’s his own fault! His instincts are usually spot on. But he just tries way too hard to be unpredictable and to trap. He limps premiums, checks the flops he should bet, misplays every turn, and just loses. He could be a decent cash player if he just played good poker. But he tries to outsmart everybody and just either loses, wins small, or fails to get paid. It’s insane.

I agree with everything upNdown said, and I'm not usually this petty, but, isn't it fun to watch him eat it like that? Or is it just me being petty? I'm ok with that.
I can understand that, but if you’re good with Robbi Jade Lee mocking Phil Helmuth, then I don’t think we’re on the same page.

Why does Helmuth act the way he does? I've only watched him play a few times but he's always being a loudmouth jerk, saying how much better he is than everyone at the table, criticizing play during the hand, etc. Does televised poker breed this sort of shit?

He’s got some issues. He’s kind of like a narcissist. Aside from a lack of social awareness, I think he’s actually kind of harmless. But he’s not 100% okay.

He's a sociopath with a superiority complex and has no empathy for those he considers lesser than himself (pretty much everybody).

I'm certain he pulled wings off grasshoppers as a child.

I read this as "pulled wigs off grasshoppers".

It might be time to go to sleep.

Phil definitely acts like a jackass, but at the very least that's usually because he feels he's getting the bad end of a stick. As classless as he can be, I'll take him over someone like Tony G, who is just legitimately a douche. Or William Kassouf, lol.
