I realize that "sample sets" are one of each chip. I won't be building a tournament set of these, so I don't have a need for those costly high denoms. I wish there was the option to buy a more reasonably priced "pre-sale set" for chips $1 - $100 so I could see how the colors play with one another before deciding whether to buy a whole set (or which chips to go for, primary v secondary).
It's a good idea for us, the buyers. I'd ask for all 39mm chips, so would include the $500 too. But now we're just talking a lot more work for Jim, so I guess I understand why he doesn't do it...

And another reason why the sample set is priced this way....

I don’t think you’d have any trouble selling off the higher denoms. Always a massive demand for them.

I like how there is no RFID Dot on the $25s also they are off to the side and not right under the Denom like the Jack Cinci's

Ugh I’ll be in the middle of a flight (delayed, just me luck) and now during the sale. :( Would anyone be willing to help me out to order 1 set for me? Id love to see the chips before the main sale and would be much obliged.

Forgive me and remove if it is inappropriate for me to ask on the sale ad!

Edit: I found some help! Thanks everyone. They had us debark from our original plane to hike across 2 terminals to a new one. Can’t complain about getting a safer plane. Yall have fun with the sale. Can’t wait to join you degens on Memorial Day!

Paulson calls it an alpha dot (alphadot?) and it’s made up of lines of micro-printed text. The chips may be RFID, but that’s not the dot. They are separate security features.

Correct. And RFID chips don't typically have a physical marker or indicator letting you know it's in there.
