@justincarothers announced he'll posting details today on how to order the new Tangiers house-mold hybrid ceramic chips that he and @Cratty has been working on with Tina for quite some time. Here's the latest mockup from the main discussion thread:
I am very excited about this set, and I figure I'd start a "Wanted" post to see who else in the greater Los Angeles area might be interested to do a mini-GB together if it saves money to combine orders/shipments. I have no details on the cost yet, but for reference Sun/Web/Greek mold hybrid chips from Justin/Tina are 47¢ per chip (53¢ per chip for 43mm). I'd receive the bulk order and then arrange to meet up to deliver individual sub-orders once the chips arrive.
I'd like to stick with folks in Los Angeles County and (North) Orange County. Outside the area (Riverside County, for example) would be tougher, but if you're interested, comment anyway. I'll probably get buy ~500 chips to support a .25/.50 game (up to a small 1/1 game) for myself. No commitments at this point, just let me know if you're interested and approximately how many chips you're considering buying.
