Along the road by the Cliff Walk, in Newport, RI, are several of these:

There's a sizable mongoose colony thriving in the greenery along the upper slopes of the Cliff Walk.
I think they're fenced off right now while repairs are going on...

This sign is located in Ebetsu City, Hokkaido, Japan.

It says in Japanese, "More hardworking town, 40000km(about 24855 miles) to Ebetsu City.

It is a bit of a joke, saying that since it is about 40000 km around the globe, as you go forward, you will come back here!
