Ok this has gone from big problem to disaster. I could understand if a couple of order slipped through, but we are talking 46 orders were allowed to go through. My head is spinning. I've sorted every order by time stamp. They were still allowing orders to go through at 14:05:32. I have been on the phone with 3 different people at PayPal with no resolve. From what I have been able to calculate, they allowed 6100 additional $1 new chips to be sold, 1260 $2 new chips to be sold, 2561 new $2.50 chips and 2072 used $2.50 chips. We had held back in inventory around 2000 of each the used $2 and $2.50 chips.
I have been racking my brain to try and figure out the fairest way to handle this. What we have decided to do is to fill all of the new $1 with used $1s. Fill all of $2 chips with used $2 chips. For the $2.50 chips, we will fill both the new and used orders with the remaining used chips based on time stamp of the orders. That will leave 19 orders without $2.50 chips. I will begin emailing those people tonight along with the international customers. The only email address I have is the email address from your PayPal account. Please check those email addresses. I can offer a swap from the $2.50 chips to $2 chips for as long as those last. The people who purchased $2 chips after the 1st hour was over, those orders will be filled last, if there are any remaining from swaps. Anyone who purchased $2.50 chips after the 1st hour, those will be refunded.
Again, I know this isn't the most ideal solution for everyone. If anyone cancels their order and more $2.50 become available. We will reach out to those who we were unable to fill their orders first. I am so sorry for all of the trouble. We are working hard to try and get all of the emails out and orders filled. Thanks again for your patience and understanding.
