To say the least, never in my 16 years of chipping experienced such a chip more powerful than drugs. These snappers should be deemed a prohibited Class A chip and locked up in a lab like a virus that’s ready to consume mankind and treated as such lmao.

The odds of getting $2s were already slim as they were sold out in 5 minutes. So...... and based on the fact that there were 2000 held back it would seem they were whored up quickly and will surface at unreasonable prices later which is the intent of the buyers from the get go..... is what it is. The ones were gone in minutes also. If I ordered new chips and was shipped used I’d be quite pissed. This isn’t the first rodeo.Well I guess my odds of getting $2 Chips are like 0% now. That sucks. Thanks for all you do though Jim. Hopefully, my order has enough to get filled
I’m still holding out hope. Wasn’t planning on reselling. I wanted to use them in a custom relabel set as the $1’s. There were lots left at 3pm so maybe just maybe there’s gonna be enough for me. I was one of the first to get them after the first hour, 2 seconds after 3. So if anyone is gonna get them who bought after the first hour it’ll be me.
First TCR sale order and got some used 2s and a rack of 100s like 15 seconds into the sale for last chips I need basically to finish off my first custom relabel set (bought HSI 1As to go along with) so really hoping I get my used 2s!! Never fun having to deal with that kinda shit as a business for sure.

What a mess!! Retailer woahs. The method was chosen by the retailer. The method failed. And the retailer has to sort it out. Period. If this was a Walmart sale the vultures would be circling. Wow. Maybe choose a different method for the store front. Not that I don’t have a bit o compassion but it is what it is. The retailer still has the money. These are the woahs of being in business you have to deal with reputable vendors. Not the cheapest ones. It’s funny earlier in this thread someone said Jim already ordered matching Tesla’s, I wonder what their return policy is. ((((Sigh))))
Aluminum hat on... could the issue have been caused by someone trying to bypass the PayPal shopping cart/purchase flow and making calls direct to the PayPal API/backend that never respected the % discount? I guess if that was the case the oversold would likely be smaller.
I also received a "not available" message at like 2:00:40 on all denoms I wanted. I assumed it was because the 1st pick (new $1s) were sold out so I removed those, added used and it went through. Definitely something funky going on.

Pay pal sucks. It’s widely known in retail. That’s why not many high volume retailers use them. But it’s the cheapest option. It is what it is. Gotta say shipping used merch in place of new no matter the condition is unacceptable in most cases. I don’t want used

They were left because the new were oversold. Without the glitch, the new would have sold out in seconds and all those people would have likely ordered used.
That's a big if. Enough buyers of over sold new chips would have to decline the used chips. I don't think that is likely. But keep your fingers crossed.
In all seriousness is there something I should have emailed him about? From what I read you only needed to email him if you wanted to cancel.

I just emailed him that if only used $1s and $2s were left that I’d rather them go to someone else and to use whatever credit towards some of the other denoms if available. And I let him know how much I appreciated all he’s contributed to the chip community over the past 13 years I’ve been a chipper. You know...usual stuff
