I agree, most of the posts are derailing from the sales thread and any problems with orders need to be handled via pm. I’m just honestly laughing at most of the posts thinking of how ridiculous some of this stuff is and then how I posted my first thread ever and made the worst ass of myself when I was completely drunk looking for poker chips online. I still regret it and try to respect everyone on here as best I can and have made a few friends. Just remember... it could always be worse, “you could have a sharp stick in your eye”

I believe this. I got trickled with one sold out after the other and also site down for maintenance about 4 times after each one. Till I was like “screw it” and took my time and still lucked out with used snappers. But got the dreaded email from Jim and no more snaps. I’m guessing I was too late.

Seeing numbers now of new chips, they should have been put in a couple 5 all new chip sets, random draw to buy the set and honestly, new chips 1/2/2.50 were priced too low I think and given the day after the sale, they look to have been WAY too cheap.

Like others have pointed out, there are a lot more members in this hobby. Like any other market, there is demand for new product. We are not the only hobby/market that faces issues trying to get that new product out to the consumer;

There will never be a perfect system to sell new goods. Thanks to Jim, for bringing new chips to the community!! Without him, a lot more chips would be destroyed or sit on shelves in casino storage. The supply would be much lower, only making the demand that much higher. We don’t always get what we want. It’s just part of life. As much as I love collecting chips, talking about chips, and just generally participating in this hobby, it’s just that, a hobby. There are much more important things in life than little clay discs. I hope that this hobby, or any others you participate in allow to meet and share your passion with others like you, allow for some great experiences, and give you much more satisfaction than pain.
