Has anybody recently ordered the used cleaned $5s? would be great to know what type of condition they come in.

I got used clean fives at the beginning of the sale. They were great. A little chalky. But I oiled them in they're fine. My cleaned $1s look like they got skipped over or maybe mixed in because some were pretty skank. And I was surprised how dirty the 25s were. Usually they're clean so I'm thinking these people were big gamblers lol. Out of all of them I would say the $1 chips were the worst which makes sense. 25s had some gunk on them but cleaned off easily and oiled up nicely

Sorry no before pictures. But I can go grab a shot of after. I'll be honest I didn't clean them intensively just tried to get the gunk off give me a second I'll grab some pics

Yes I lightly oil them I could probably do it again

I can see that alright. They cleaned up nicely.

Quite frankly I threw them in a bucket of water with mineral oil mixed in and then I laid them out on a towel to dry and then lightly dry them with a microfiber cloth. The ones I used a little bit of a magic eraser they were pretty dingy. The 25s had a lot of boogers on them lol

I really did the cut rate version of a cleaning and oiling if I would have taken my time I'm sure they would look better

My first and only set of Paulsons. I may get another someday they're expensive but I got these a good price obviously. I'm really liking ceramics I got a set from BRpro poker. And I have a love for China clays. I have a set of majestics a set of dunes and I just ordered a set of crazy horse which are relabeled milanos from straight poker supply in Canada. I also have a set of milanos but it's only a 500 chip set for a 50 cent $1 cash game

Very nice. Sounds like you have a big old collection. The price is good on this sale alright. Kind of hard to pass up. I got some of these too. They are nice chips.

They are cleaned but you will still need to clean some of the chip as some chips will still have a bit of the dirtiness on it

First off welcome to the club! Second I suggest giving those bad boys an oiling. I assume they were all ultrasonic cleaned? They probably feel dried out. Oil will put moisture back into the clay and make the colors pop

Man these are some pretty sweet chips! Bought a bunch of primary $25's earlier and now I'm torn if I should "upgrade" to secondary $25's while they're still available :S

Primary has the better spot type and colors, but are used (sometimes very used)
While the secondary has a decent spot type and colors, the best part of them is the condition (that being “mint/new/uncirculated”)
Really comes to personal preference, having both and deciding which one fits better with what you wanna do/get out of them

Yeah, got some samples of secondaries too, but somehow to sharp mintiness feels odd when the chip is kinda light (I think greens are slightly lighter than other JACK's), hence I think the primaries have a bit better touch. But then again I guess secondaries would wear sooner or later to this smoother touch too.

I love the look of the secondary 25s. Don't like many green chips very much.

The $5s look great with a light wash and oil (these are from sorted clean $5s).
