Yeah. Unfortunately. However, they still appear quite pretty so a lot of people seem to be able to look the other way here. Are they all RHC?
Updated the sheet's formulas to calculate the percentages based on the total of Primary and Secondary chips combined. You can save locally to excel or make a copy and make all the edits you need.
Stupid question but.... where do you place the order through? I don't see a website. The original post mentioned a shopping cart so I assumed it's on a website somewhere. If not, where will the link be? Will it be in Post #1 in this thread (the original poster edits his post and adds it in there)?
Thanks! There is a small problem with the "Within Limits" column. You are not taking into account that the limits apply to the combined purchase of primary and secondary chips. In other words, if I purchase 2000 chips, I cannot purchase 100 primary 5K AND 100 secondary 5K. On your spreadsheet, however, it would say this configuration is "Within Limits".
Once the sale starts there will be links added to the OP for each chip. It runs through PayPal.
Thanks for this.
And when does Chip Room announce when the sale will start? Do I need to keep coming here to refresh this page?
And how much time will there be between the announcement of sale date to the actual sale date?
I'm worried that 1) I'll miss the announcement and 2) Once it's announced, the actual sale starts too soon after so that I don't even have time to place an order?
**We will add the date and time, pictures, grand opening chips and sample sets by tomorrow
Thanks for the replies guys.
Last newbie/dumb question - I know primaries are first line casino chips and secondaries are their backups. In this case it's all brand new, so are you guys picking them just based on design alone? Are there other considerations like resale value and things of that nature? Not that I care, because I don't look at poker chips as investments. I plan on playing home games with them and showing them off to friends.
Thanks for this.

Thanks! Didn't realize it's a combined limit. I've updated the original sheet as well, as I can see some folks still accessing that version.I made an updated spreadsheet that takes that into account. Try this one.

I think some of these degenerates were accusing you of being the disruptive kangaroo. What happened?
Just missing your banter around the parts!
pm incoming Jonesey07So I'm not planning on making an order, but my ordering services could be offered out if anyone is so inclined. PM me.
Hi I would like to buy a 5$ rack but if I get it right I can’t do it alone...So if anyone is ok to add me on his order, pm me please.
Just get the ones that you want... particularly since you plan on using them.
There are obviously some chips (.25, 500, 1000) that people seem to be really into, so it may make sense to get those even if you don't end up using them.
Pretty sure 97% of us buy chips to play.So I have never had nor have I considered getting mint chips before this sale but I am going to get caught by the bug and be involved somehow.
My question for you all that will be involved or have mint chips, do you plan on using them or will these be just a show piece? If I am involved, I will put them in play, but I am just curious as to how you all approach it.
I've bought a lot of chips over the years -- seriously, a lot of chips -- but I've ALWAYS bought chips that I liked (at least at the time when I purchased them; people's tastes can change). And everything else is totally secondary to that main driver.I know primaries are first line casino chips and secondaries are their backups. In this case it's all brand new, so are you guys picking them just based on design alone? Are there other considerations like resale value and things of that nature?
