seller said:These are Kem Cards manufactured by US Playing Card company. The same company that manufactures Bicycle cards. They have been making these for the last 13 plus years. Here is there warranty information below.

If anyone is wondering;
I called the number and the lady said that they were not KEM cards, rather an Aristocrat casino line. She gave me a number for replacement cards but as expected they do not have any. I also found marks on the red deck as well, leaving me with two unplayable decks.
I have never returned anything from Amazon. Will shipping be refunded based on the fact that these were sold as KEMs and I do not see the KEM name anywhere on them?
It's a pretty odd screwup, listing the Admirals as KEM's. If they were just listed as plastic casino cards, they would have been fine.
Listing them specifically as KEM's is only likely to attract the type of people (us) who would notice the difference and be dissatisfied.
I'd like to give the seller the benefit of the doubt (especially if both brands are owned by the same company) but this is a screwup that would have been easy to avoid and could end up being costly.
Kems come in Kem boxes, period. The USPC boxes are off brand, Bicycle plastic cards, or aristocrats.From the outside there is no way to tell they aren't KEM as the case is USPC and the blank card blocks any image of a card face or brand. Aristocrat is not mentioned anywhere on the outside of the package, though neither is KEM.
Ideally you'd think the seller would open at least 1 setup to get more information about what they were selling. It is entirely possible that whoever they got the cards from described them as KEM cards, but ultimately it is their responsibility to accurately describe the item being sold.
Yeah that's what I was thinking. And on the one hand, I can see how you might not realize the need for that if you're not a card-savy person. But on the other hand you 1) probably shouldn't be selling cards if you don't have any knowledge of cards, and 2) should look at a few card ads, realize pictures of the card faces are customary, and open up a pack and take some damn pictures!Ideally you'd think the seller would open at least 1 setup to get more information about what they were selling.

The second lady I talked to said that US playing card bought KEM and they could be KEM card but that made zero sense to me as they say Aristocrat which is another line from USPC.
