I get that. It just doesn't do anything for me. That's what's great about this hobby. I can avoid those while everyone else has a feeding frenzy and hopefully get the cash chips I want lol.I adore them actually.. Now, in saying that, I adore it because it's so off the wall.
I'm not running out to the bank to finance em. I won't sell any of my chips to get them. I can't agree with hideous, but they dont make me go back to look at the pictures. So no, not the only oneAm I the only one who thinks the colors on this tournament set are hideous? Like they threw a dart at a color wheel and this is what came out? It just doesn't jive with me at all. I get the rarity and everything but so ugly.
The important this going into these sales is to prioritize what you want and make a plan. Be prepared to make changes to your order quickly if you get the sold out error page. There is no time to think once the sale has started.I'm wondering if it'll be possible to attempt to get a tourney set, check out, then go back and try to get a cash set. First sale for me here, so debating whether to just go for one or the other or try to get both. Would definitely have to check out the tourney set before attempting to get cash I'm sure
I bet those mint roulette sell out quickly, such a good deal.I get that. It just doesn't do anything for me. That's what's great about this hobby. I can avoid those while everyone else has a feeding frenzy and hopefully get the cash chips I want lol.
Yeah, the field is vast and has many options for each person's taste. I wish ya the best of luck scoring the cash chips ya want!I get that. It just doesn't do anything for me. I'm not going to say I love all the cash chips but this will be the first mint set I've ever owned, and being from Missouri is the icing on the cake. I really like the fracs, ones and 500s which I'll never use in a cash game but have to have some.Yeah, the field is vast and has many options for each person's taste. I get you, they aren't great. If there were tonnes of spotted hotstamped tourneys available people wouldn't go near these.I get that. It just doesn't do anything for me. I wish they would have used the cash $100 colours/spots for the T100 and the $500 for the T1000. Those chips are amazing.I get that. It just doesn't do anything for me. Hey, I know how that is. I added a 500 chip to my CPC order even tho a hundo will never hit the table... Let alone a rack of them.I'm not going to say I love all the cash chips but this will be the first mint set I've ever owned, and being from Missouri is the icing on the cake. My last cash game I had a whole barrel of hundos in play...it was the heaviest game we ever had. Had me so worried I bought more lol. Now my cash set is up to 1500 pieces.Hey, I know how that is. I added a 500 chip to my CPC order even tho a hundo will never hit the table... Let alone a rack of them.
I completely over plan. But hey, I'm always prepared! My CPC will be 1100 chips, and we don't even play cash. Wtf.
beg forgiveness from the wife at a later date.
That's when you do a T10k and a 500 count cash set, and know you could have done a bit more, but you didn't, and that's why you deserve the cash set. Winning. The real question is how much can I get away with spending on this sale!! On the high end a T10K set and a 700pc cash set. On the low end a 600pc cash set. May have to just go all out and beg forgiveness from the wife at a later date.
I'm thinking my best shot is now since we haven't been married a billion years. Gotta push the limits while she still loves me!!Let me know how that works out for ya! If you give me a positive report, I'd like to try this myself.
I bought 2 tournament sets and yet to host one single tournament. Sold one and will sell the other definitely without useMy CPC will be 1100 chips, and we don't even play cash. Wtf.
Hahaha. The struggle is real. Good news, we will get a few games a year on them. It'll just take time.I bought 2 tournament sets and yet to host one single tournament. Sold one and will sell the other definitely without use
I don’t know what’s wrong with me...After I check out on the cash set, there is a good probability I will try to click on the 10k link. My saving grace is that most likely (definitely) they will be sold out. I just don’t learn...Hahaha. The struggle is real. Good news, we will get a few games a year on them. It'll just take time.
Yeah. I'd guess there isn't too many of those T10k sets. A few less then the T2ks. Either will be a win I think for who gets them. Oh my cash set will be used...probably not the $25s and definitely not the $100s. I’m still figuring out how many racks of $100s I ’need’And I just need 1 rack of $1’s. Now the question do I put together a set just to get the $1’s, take my chance after the first hour, or wait for you degenerates to sell them when you never use them?
