- Determine how many players you have remaining.
- Determine how many tables you need (based off step 1 results)
- Tables that are numbered higher than the number of tables you need will be broken down. So if you need 4 tables, anyone seated at tables 5 or higher will be reseated.
- Players at tables not being broken down remain stationary. Not that position matters in a flip, but you may as well know the proper procedure.
- Randomly place each of the players to be reseated at the remaining tables. Use caution to make sure the tables are balanced - I can give details on this process if needed, but trying to avoid making this appear confusing. It's really easy once you get to doing it.
In a casino, if you are down to the final 2 tables, everyone is randomly reseated. Then when you get to the final table, everyone is randomly reseated once again. Again, this is because of the importance of position, which matters less in a flip.
