We need to talk about that inlay though, it’s gotta go. I have never murdered RHCs, is it about the same as THCs or at least not worse?
Well, I doubt the inlays are paper, so it can't be worse. We need to talk about that inlay though, it’s gotta go. I have never murdered RHCs, is it about the same as THCs or at least not worse?
I actually really kind of like these inlaysWe need to talk about that inlay though, it’s gotta go. I have never murdered RHCs, is it about the same as THCs or at least not worse?
Same. The Horseshoe and Jacks inlays didn't really do it for me. Different tastes...I actually really kind of like these inlays
Lets take a moment and compare them to the disaster chips that replaced them.We need to talk about that inlay though, it’s gotta go.
I actually really kind of like these inlays
That does make it easier of courseSame. The Horseshoe and Jacks inlays didn't really do it for me. Different tastes...
About the same. No paper inlays is the important part!We need to talk about that inlay though, it’s gotta go. I have never murdered RHCs, is it about the same as THCs or at least not worse?
Shhhhthe disrespect i've seen on the $500pri. i'm glad. they're me and my friends' favourite chip from the whole lot.
I always envision it more like this:Does anybody else feel like if these pre-sale threads were a picture, they would look like this?

Yeah, probably just me. But I know I'm waiting and hoping to receive these sweet, sweet chippies.
The casinos do it all, I have no input normally.@TheChipRoom
I'm curious about the "behind the scenes."
Does the casino just literally dump all the chips off the tables directly into metal barrels?
What about the secondaries? Are they just dumped from where they were stored?
Did you provide the barrels, it did the casino? Why metal barrels (drums)?
Why info about the process would satisfy my curiosity.
Too bad that spot looks like Butterscotch on the Grand $5 and not Arc Yellow...

IMO anyways
so i see it as (assuming 50 pounds for steel drum and hardware bolts used to seal barrel up) this is all fuzzy logic and tongue in cheek methodI figured the barrel scale had a tare button.
My bad.
My guess was only off by 100 chipsso i see it as (assuming 50 pounds for steel drum and hardware bolts used to seal barrel up) this is all fuzzy logic and tongue in cheek method
600 - 50 =550 lbs
since 1 lb is about 453.6 grams
therefore there is 249,480 grams of material
assuming avg weight of chip is 9 grams
249480 / 9 = 27,720 chips
going deeper into crazy land
if one was to look at the sample sale of 125 for 18 chips avg price is 6.94
one can take a deep hit off the bong and assume a fair auction price is
27720*6.94 = $192.5k
or make an assumption that lower denominations are the majority
@$4 a chip avg = $110880 a barrel
now knowing the chip addicted crack heads (adding me to that mix) on this site, this would be extremely conservative numbers
yes i know each chip denomination has a different cost associated with it, but hey arent we all gamblers.....this is where a 2nd and maybe 3rd hit on the bong is required plus a bottle of buffalo trace whisky (can't drink the expensive stuff right now, need $$ for the chip sale)
Thing is you dont know which chips would be in the barrel if u got mostly $1,$5,$25,$100s right off the bat you would lose alot of money if it was a barrel with $500s and up then Score lol also dont think many people here could afford 100k and up Barrels I know there are people who could but majority of people couldn't so it would be an auction WW could win easily if he wanted too lolso i see it as (assuming 50 pounds for steel drum and hardware bolts used to seal barrel up) this is all fuzzy logic and tongue in cheek method

I expect these are vinyl and will pop off nice and easy. The Horseshoe Cleveland $25s were the easiest chips in the World to murder. We need to talk about that inlay though, it’s gotta go. I have never murdered RHCs, is it about the same as THCs or at least not worse?
It's going to take awhile to get through these 2 barrels of table chips.

it meTHC Crowd: "THC are so awesome I just can't see myself ever owning RHC chips. I mean preferably leaded obvi, but unleaded THC chips at a minimum."
thechiproom: "Hey guys check these out."
THC Crowd: "Well, except these."
Remarkably, you and I have picked the exact opposite in every case.
