???? Can you explain this? Have we been doing poker wrong all these years?@TheChipRoom
Are there any poker denomination chips? For example:
$2, $3, $10, $20, etc.
I didn't see any from the pictures, just confirming.
Some casinos have those denominations specifically for poker. USA casinos.???? Can you explain this? Have we been doing poker wrong all these years?
Maybe that’s a European or Canada thing
$2.50 chips are for blackjack mainly to pay for blackjack and aren’t used for poker. And $2/$3 chips aren’t normally used in play either but are used for the rake. Some casinos have those denominations specifically for poker. USA casinos.
Jack Cincy has both $2 (for poker) and normal $2.50 snappers.
Aria, Bellagio have 2 and 10 and 20.
So, I was just asking if the Indiana Grand had any.
Yes. I'm aware what snappers are used for. Just pointing out that Jack Cincy has both a 2 (for poker) and and 2.5 snapper. That's all.$2.50 chips are for blackjack mainly to pay for blackjack and aren’t used for poker. And $2/$3 chips aren’t normally used in play either but are used for the rake.
I feel like $2s are pretty common for limit games.$2.50 chips are for blackjack mainly to pay for blackjack and aren’t used for poker. And $2/$3 chips aren’t normally used in play either but are used for the rake.
no but it’s a great point. Aside from I think one casino with $2s, we haven’t seen any “limit” denoms or drop denoms in any chiproom sale that I can remember. Maybe they’re not commonly used in his usual states?Yes. I'm aware what snappers are used for. Just pointing out that Jack Cincy has both a 2 (for poker) and and 2.5 snapper. That's all.
And I thought 2 and 3 chips where used for cash games like
1/2
2/4
3/6
But we're all getting wildly of topic. I just wanted to know if Jim saw any of the denominations I mentioned.
Lucky Derby and Aces come to mind, both $2 and $3 denoms.… and the one with a tree on the inlay had a $2 (oak tree?)I feel like $2s are pretty common for limit games.

I doAll 200 sample sets have sold?!?!? Did you not celebrate with your mothers?? For shame!
Anyone have a sample set they can spare?
probably seeing some of the denoms from other casinos / poker rooms / peoples customs.???? Can you explain this? Have we been doing poker wrong all these years?

The thread will be posted that weekend, or that's the target date for the sale?Hopefully Memorial Day weekend.
I think I can oblige to loan you the set.Since I was a good boy today and took my wife / kids / grandkids out for Mother's Day lunch, I missed the sample set sale. Wondering if anyone who bought multiple sets might be willing to send one around for others to get a look at? If so, please put me on the list.
To be clear, not looking to buy the set, just get it for a day to look at, then send on to the next person. Seems like somebody did this for the Jack Cinci sample set.
Leave the jokes to the pros. (Me)???? Can you explain this? Have we been doing poker wrong all these years?
