Heading down to Detroit in a couple hours for the Wings Little Caesers Arena Home/Season opener. Red carpet celebration with lots of retired DRW alumni plus all the current Wings. Pretty excited for NHL to be back! (In all honesty, we're going to have a rough go this year......again lol.) Being a Tampa fan, you must just love Justin Abdelkader eh? lol. Hope you are sitting in the lower bowl... I sat in the second row upstairs and for $75 face value (and I understand the seats tonight are $150 face), I did not find much value.
They did do alot right with the arena, including installing the original lights from Olympia (although I think I heard they needed to replace the 'O').

Yeah we were lower bowl, 4 rows from the glass on the end the Wings shot twice. So Z buried the game winner right in front of us - so sick. LCA is a pretty amazing building, it's like a completely different world walking in there. Great game last night

Agreed lol - ALL my friends HATE Abby, which I totally get. And thanks, the game was pretty awesome. Even though Tampa beat us 2 years in a row in the opening round a couple years back, I've always had a soft spot for them just cause of the Yzerman factor. Y'all are just grooming him til he comes back home and takes Hollands spot
