I would suggest looking for EVA foam that’s about 5-6 mm thick (6mm = 1/4 inch).
It’s a nice closed cell foam that’s very flexible yet very durable. It’s what the cosplay crowd use to make their costumes since it cuts and handles well. I think 6mm would be about the right degree of “cush” you’re looking for.
I’ve seen it sold in fairly large sheets (rolls), about 40” x 80” x 0.25”, so if you can get that, you should be able to cut your pad out of a single piece.
Let us know what you finally decide on.

I dont use foam but instead a custom cut piece of the rubber lattice that you put under a rug. It has the give you need, and it keeps the topper secure. cant recommend enough.

Interestingly, I do use this under mine, because its a perfect fit and a perfect underlay to keep my topper from moving. YMMV, but its works for me!

Do these come with any sort of storage? Or will I need to source that separate? Finally pulled my self made poker table out for the first time since 'rona for a game I'm hosting this weekend and between noticing the cloth is a bit loose (adhesive is gone looks like) and delinting/cleaning the darn thing I've convinced myself that a new topper is the way to go.

No Indiana grand toppers exist yet. Not sure if the artwork for the casino logo has been used in any other group buys on the forum for dealer buttons, cut cards, etc. If you do some digging on the forum and find the artwork somewhere I can throw something together for you. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to create it from scratch right now.

Not related to table toppers, but I have been doing a ton of poker table research as well.
If I may suggest - for the price of the Vevor - could I recommend the Gutshot poker table instead? Seems much better built than this at the same size, and for the same cost (just no wheels).
