Vendor Sale Made-to-order Custom Table Toppers (67 Viewers)

A friend of mine is looking for a dining room table topper to give to his high-school aged son for his birthday.

From others who have purchased, would this be a good fit?

What do you mean would it be a good fit? If you mean would it be a good idea? Than yes. Try and have a custom one made for him, I’d guess he’d absolutely love it.

I guess I was referring to the thickness- I read that another layer was recommended underneath? I assume that won’t happen reliably with a HS kid and friends, and wonder if that’s a big deal.

For comparison I have a PCF topper that is quite a bit thicker (I think)

Oh ok, that I don’t know from experience, but for a high school kid I’d say get the topper and if you want padding just go to Joanne fabrics or something and buy something that is cheap and can be tossed if is spilled on. Now that I’m typing that, idk if spills go through the toppers, but regardless, point being the custom topper is cool enough to be a gift and let the crazy high schooler decide after that, idk.

Sizing came a tiny bit off, but was an easy fix and looks amazing now!

Hey @rjdev7 , these look amazing. The PCF has convinced me to pursue a Casino Royale (007) chips and plaques set, which absolutely requires a table to complete. I saw this photo in the album in the original post- just wanted to confirm it’s still able to be produced before I drop too much money on chips and plaques.

Even if it’s not- I want to say, thank you for providing this service to the community. It’s obviously such a great offer, judging by the 97 pages of replies!
