Thanks for the kind words everyone! When we moved back to UT from FL around a year ago my only request for the house from my wife was a basement I could make whatever I want. Ended up renting this place with an unfinished basement but with a few wall tapestries and a lot of toys was able to make an awesome space.
I’ve posted a few shots elsewhere, but since I’m in the middle of setting up for tonight’s cash game…

Game takes place in a renovated barn, which doubles as my other half’s studio, and my woodshop (off this main room) and storage.
Updated the seating since my December post, with vintage leather Herman Miller executive chairs… These were expensive but I got an insane deal. Could flip them for 2-3x my price, so I view them as a profitable long-term loan.

Would agree. Hate armrests…but I’m sure they are dreamyFlip them and get something just as good without armrests?

If there is room for armrests, why not.The armrests are removable. But my players seem good with them. These are exceedingly comfortable chairs made for sittting all day.
That house fell through. But bought a different one yesterday. Blank slate 540 sq ft rectangular poker room. Plan is bar area, small theatre area, 2 tables permanently set up. So many options a bit overloading.Thread bump, as I need a motivational pick me up to get through stress (risky) of buying a new house... with 440 sq ft poker room. Keep eyes on the prize.
Moar pics!

@chicubs1988I've been searching but can't find a particular chippers bar setup. Don't know who it was either. Was a bar along a wall with overhead cabinet display area full of birdcages lit by LED. Think it had a beer pull lever. May have been a basement too.
Anyone know?
Was awesome and wanted to take another look as inspiration for the new cave.

Your place sounds great for hosting, best of luck on the fit out!
That's the one. Is awesome. Thanks for linking. Was searching intermittently for over a week with no joy.
