The T25 is my favorite now that I see them in person. That's my workhorse chip too. Sweet!
It’s likely that I’ll have a rack of v2 25ks to dispose of. Tommy is finding out if I can add on a rack of v1s but if that doesn’t work out I’ll either try and trade my v2s for v1s, sell my whole high roller set (100 each of 500, 1k, 5k, 25k) or relabel my 5s as 25k. The only way they’ll not be available is if by some miracle I can trade the rack of v2s for v1s.ugh, turns out I preemptively sold my T25K V1s

Chips arrived today!
So happy I decided to change my mind and come in last minute on these. I prefer T25 base tournaments, but I didn’t like how the 1k and 5k chips played together in this set so I decided on my first T5 base set. Happy I did as the T5 was an upside surprise. Still think the 1k chip is the winner of the set with the T500 a close second.

What’s your starting stacks? Just curious, this is over 3 million Tournament bank, I know it’s high roller so just wondering.
The BG approved 10/10/7/10 with no rebuys (T300k starting) or 10/10/7/2 with max 2 rebuys per player (T100k starting).
I have run a high roller T100k game with 20/20/14 because I have a 200/600/600 (500/1k/5k) set - the 600 T5k chips make up for the lack of T25k. The guys love the big numbers and moar chips but we only play this format every 6 months or so as a special occasion.
I'll trade a complete AS tourney sample set for a barrel of V1 T25K.

I’d trade a barrel of V1 T25000 for two barrels of LCO 2’s.
I have some rack questions:
- Is there any risk to keeping Matsuis in racks other than the ones they came with? Any reason they are covered? Will they get scratched in stacks or something?
- What other racks DO they fit in? I tried Paul-son CHIPS24010 and could only get away with 19. Then tried this 4 suits (ChipCo?) 43mm rack and I could forcefully squeeze in a barrel, but it made me feel uncomfortable. If I didn't square up the barrel once it was in there, it would maintain its staggered shape because of the tension.
- Matsui rack stickers - keep or toss?

I have a stack of Matsuis with beveled edges and PGI racks and they fit very tight. So much so you would have to force them into the rack. Also since theyre 40mm and most racks are designed for 39mm I would keep them in the original racks
I thought the exact same thing as I peeled them off. Then the common sense side of my brain told the OCD side it was being ridiculous and forced it to drink 4 bud lites and the OCD side agreed to throw them away.
I am sure this is a really dumb question, but is anyone lightly oiling their T5s? I have never owned matsui chips and it seems ridiculous to oil them, but I feel like the colors pop more. Seems like it would be a bad idea, but wondering if anyone has done anything to their 5s. Or perhaps washing them or something? Seems like there is maybe a thin layer of dust or something that is preventing them from truly shining. I lightly oiled the edges of an extra T5 chip I had and I could definitely tell a difference but I am hesitant to do it on more. All the other denoms look perfectly bright to me, so just considering the 5s at this point. Wondering if anyone had thoughts on this.
