Hoping for the best... But it would be funny if...

Don't go putting that in the universe!

We have :qd::ts::9d::9h: and call a raise preflop, multiway to

:tc::8d::2h:

Checked around

Turn :7h:

Checked to me, I bet pot of $180 holding half the 9's in the deck

Fish on left calls

River :4d:

I bet $220. He calls with :9s::6s::4c::3s:

Le sigh. We add-on back to 1k

I'm going to write a book: How to Beat a Poker Pro.

  1. Play shit cards
  2. Get the pro to give you a nickname. Fish, Bong, Drooler and Cuban are all good.
  3. Scoop all the live-long day.
  4. If Pro shouts "BINGO BANGO BONGO VINCE!", pick up and leave - he's unbeatable tonight.
I guess it's not much of a book... more like a pamphlet, if I add photos. Still, Fish, Bong and Drooler probably aren't inclined to read very much, so it's right in their wheelhouse.

5. Tilt him by challenging him to a roller skating race and saying that you'll beat him worse there than at the tables :wtf:

We limp :9h::8h::8s::7d: and multiway to a flop of

:th::6c::4s:

One guy bets 25, we call, one other caller

Turn :qh:

He bets 65, we both call

River :qc:

SUCK DEALER!

he bets, we both fold, he shows AQT lol

The female Bong left plus the high hand fish and the game got "less good"

The 5/5 was worse and just look like it broke

Grabbing dinner and then back at it. People will be out of work soon, games should pickup

Stuck $950 though, not the way I like to start my sessions :(

Argh, we see a flop of :3c::4c::8h: holding :ac::2c::qh::ts:

EP LAG bets 35, new guy at table pots it!

I consider repotting but feel like I'm up against a set and ultimately fold

Guy had Q864 with the Q high flush draw and I would've gotten there

Then on button with rock and we call a raise to $15 by the LAG holding :9d::7s::5d::4s:

Multiway to a flop of :kd::8c::6h:

checked to LAG who bets 35, I call, SB checkraises to $125

Folds to me, I rip and we go twice, he has top set and $580 total

First board :4d::6s:
Second board :kd::th:

And I lose both boards

We limp-call a $15 raise with KK95

Flop Q64 rainbow, bet and two callers, we fold

Turn K and he bets big, they both fold, le sigh

folding the flop when you would have turned a set is the worst:

Just saved a BOATLOAD of money

LAG minraises to 10, I call with AA37 one suit on button

SB calls, BB min reraises to 15, LAG makes it 25, I call, they all call

Flop 994 one of my suit

Checked around

Turn 2 of my suit, giving me straight flush draw, LAG bets 100, I call, all others fold

River 2

Checked down

LAG has AA9x and he would've gotten my stack in preflop if BB had juiced again and I backraised

Plus he only goes once. Lost the bare minimum there

Then I have AT87 one suit plus naked ace club on an A84 flop

I bet in LP, one caller in blinds

Turn 7, but puts 2 clubs out. He bets $125, I wind up calling and praying for a board pair or a club I can bluff

River is my club, he bets 100, I think a bit and pot, he insta-mucks

We just sit down to 5/5/10 PLO with about $1300 in front of us

The guys have straddled to $360 preflop (NOT a typo)

We are in the BB for $5 with :ad::ts::7d::5c:

By the time it gets to us there are multiple all-ins

We decide to go for it, a few of the guys only run once

By the river I make top 3 pair and it is good!

Next hand I call a straddle to $80 with :ad::jc::9s::8d:

Bunch of all-ins. Biggest stack has $1,150

We call and it's a 4-way all-in

Myself and the bigger stack go twice on side pot

Surprisingly two of the guys have solid hands like :ah::qh::ts::7s: and :as::kh::js::8d:

We unfortunately get scooped on this one

Do we need to have an intervention.

Do we need to have an intervention.

No gambool, no future!

If I lost that first hand I would've likely Rolf Slotboomed that game with $500 minbuys trying to 4-5x it

As it stood, the insanity showed no signs of slowing, and I'm not rolled for 180/360 so wound up booking the win and heading home

Forgot to mention that in the first big hand I scooped, a guy offered the dealer $100 if he won

I outbid him and offered $150 if I won, and my word is my bond so when I dragged that 5k+ pot I tipped the dealer $150
