My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (34 Viewers)

Recently Poker Jeezus attempted to use slang to appeal to "Zoomerlennials"

Next up he'll be trying to target the Spanish-speaking audience, I just downloaded some mariachi music to use when he flies across the screen and have a bunch of updated visuals for him, here's a sneak peek of one of them

Would you say a bit about your approach to the on-line game? Buying in quite short. Playing for a huge VP$iP without the needed implied odds from a deep stack. Hand selection that appears quite wide. It is all a bit strange.

Perhaps the editing process just shows the short stack parts of your on-line game? Maybe there is some sort of prop deal where you need that sky high VP$iP? I guess you might have told all this somewhere in the past. From the viewer's perspective, it looks like you aren't winning your on-line game.

Just curious. I hope you would be so kind and offer us some insight -=- DrStrange

So my background has been primarily full-ring live games. Transitioning to shorter-handed online games that also require you to play a higher VPIP than my nitty ass is accustomed to is an adjustment to say the least.

Couldn't really get much going in 5-card PLO, but did find success switching to the 4-card PLO (which has a 30% VPIP requirement instead of 45%) and I also found the players to be far more passive with less preflop raises than in the 5 card game.

I had really hoped to be able to stick out in the 5 card streets more frequently, because that seems to be where the BBJ is hit most often, and it's up over 400K right now. I still dabble a bit in it, but generally buy in short to limit my exposure and make my decision points easier, as I'm still fairly new to the more aggro short-handed online tables.

Got vlog 113 up which includes the 500 chip giveaway at the start. Standard def is uploaded, high definition was still processing if you notice lower quality than usual
