Just throwing in what I know, as I had some pain points with him in a job, but he did come thru in the end and make it right after a extended period of time.
He has had a rather brutal last year with health and some personal issues that I won't get into (not my place). I can confirm shit has been going on.
Not saying it's right or valid, just confirming the statements.

i understand.
there comes to a point where even though you've had a tough year but then if you go golfing almost everyday in the summer, and don't prioritize atleast communication, there is an issue.

Again, not saying it's valid. Just confirming. Believe me, I know the frustration. I went on the ride.
This reeks of a situation where there's no malice involved, but with significant real world stuff at play here. Alan was nothing but honest and professional when he did a job for me last year and kept me in the loop the whole way.
I can probably dig in my PM's for his full name, but has anyone tried to Google him and see if something happened? And not to be morbid, but also check for obituaries?
I would agree, but I would also say my communication during my ride was pretty dogshit. Again, in the end he made it 110% right and all I lost was time. but my experience was not the same as yours. It would align more with Rustys.

I would call businesses within his suite to see if he has been coming in/out or they know about his health.
He would get so many packages sometimes his neighbors would get them.
I pray everything is okay. This is more concerning something is up…the lack of communication is the concern...always admitted when he was slow or backed up, and is an avid poker player and chipper.

All I can contribute to this thread is this…
I get it, things happen but every time I get set to start packing and shipping it’s all laid out on paper what’s going on in case I wind up “going all in and busting out” so to speak on the way to work or something. Then the backer can break it to whomever is involved around here and she can finish the job.
If the subject of all this has been gotten in touch with and he’s well I’m glad. Hopefully there’ll be a quick resolution. Our community is built on trust but we do get it if something happens once in a while.

I’m a hard sell on matters like this too. My backer is a skeptic and I think it wore off on me.
Everyone has shared the same sentiments, things have been delayed. His communication has been lackluster, but he has always delivered, and he’s okay.
