Totally underrated. I think that calling them beans and not just peanuts throws people off, maybe?

Star Bars.

Scoop the insides out with a spoon so you're just left with the shell. Consume shell by dunking in a cup of tea and gradually sucking the chocolate off the caramel bit.

Candy Raisins.JPG


Candy Raisins, made by Stark-Necco from the 1930s until 2008. According to Wikipedia, they were popular in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (where I grew up). Lake County Candies acquired the recipe and started making them again in 2014. (y) :thumbsup: I had no idea they were being made again until today when I looked for an image to post ITT.

I'll order some as soon as I get back from Colorado. :D
 
I know these aren't "underrated" but i can't help thinking about them when candy gets mentioned.

Beautiful dark chocolate, 60-75% cacao being the sweet zone. No other candy need apply (except maybe Dark Kit Kats). (y) :thumbsup:
