New Casinos / New Chips Thread (5 Viewers)

Went up to a blackjack table asking if they had them, lady didn't really understand me. I said it again, she points to the $1 chips, I said, "No no no, the $5 Turn 4 chips." I had another in my hand to show. She pulled 4 from the tray, spread them and then I pointed to it, she smacked my hand a bit like I wasn't able to touch it... Called another lady to watch and she starts looking at me like I'm crazy that I only wanted those chips. Luckily we had just done a delivery to Ellis for a blackjack table they bought from us so the guy who was helping us receive the table came over to make sure we got what we needed.

Those are sketchy AF. The Downtown Grand is nowhere near the actual course/circuit/track, and has nothing to do with F1 (which they have carefully, and I guess smartly, avoided mentioning on the chip itself.) I mean, obvious attempt to capitalize on the event, but they're making it sound like Downtown .... Grand Prix, when it's really Downtown Grand .... Prix.

I think if you mispronounce Prix, it's about right.

Downtown Grand Prix would be pretty awesome though. 3/4 naked buxters standing on the track, drivers have to take a drink every lap, and a zipline to carry you the length of the straightaway.

...and unlike the strip, drivers won't have to pay $20 for pitting.

Orleans hotstamp $1s are way too diffcult to get considering what they are, lol.
They are only on the floor games currently and apparently not going to be used in the poker room? IDK how/why you would do that..

They are available in the poker room, average 10-20 mixed in racks. GL!

Another Vegas $1 moving to the hotstamp. Dollars are becoming the new frac of Vegas.

I said elsewhere (maybe in the mail thread, I don't remember) that I'll take hot stamp clay chips over ICON every day.

Some of them do have decent stamps too. This one, not so much. :ROFLMAO:

I hope they have Icons or ceramics! :sneaky::tup:

Vegas casinos now have a long track record of letting me down, so don't frowny-face my hopes.

It the center raised, with a "donut" label?

Can't say I love it, but if that is an entirely new chip concept, I could see using a drill and making an I Ching coin set if similar chips ever made it to a chiproom sale.
