4 of a Kind
The 43mm is larger
Using relative sizing (resizing the sample pics to match set diameters), it looks like the 39mm chip is using 24mm not 25.4mm labels. The red circles (33% transparency so it looks pink) are 39mm, while the yellow inner circle is 25.4mm and green inner circle is 24mm. The yellow circle definitely goes outside the label area.

For the 43mm size (in blue), the label appears to be 28mm, again using relative sizing.
I do not float in water, nor am I a duck. And I make a terrible bridge.
Went off of this one. Here's a mockup of the 24mm recess with a 23.8mm inlay.

Honestly, the difference between 24mm and 25.4mm is only 1.4mm or 0.055", which is less than 1/16th of an inch. So it's not like going from a THC 7/8" to RHC 1".Went off of this one.
Edit. Next mold will be bigger inlay!
Her largest inlay is the no mold hybrid at 25.8mm. That seems plenty large.Honestly, the difference between 24mm and 25.4mm is only 1.4mm or 0.055", which is less than 1/16th of an inch. So it's not like going from a THC 7/8" to RHC 1".
You wouldn't think it would be much of a difference. But then there was this example.Honestly, the difference between 24mm and 25.4mm is only 1.4mm or 0.055", which is less than 1/16th of an inch. So it's not like going from a THC 7/8" to RHC 1".
Yeah the difference between 25.4mm and 24mm is basically 7/128th of an inch. You wouldn't think it would be much of a difference. But then there was this example.
Which I now realize was not comparing 25.4 to 24mm. 7/8ths is only 22.225mm.

Hey, would you mind sharing the color code for the pink in the .25s, as well as the three colors of the 5$? I'm collecting colors to use for my new project, and I struggle to match the colors form the CPC Design Tool, hard to find Ceramics that look similar, but I think those look great. Feel free to PM me fore more info. That is going to have to wait until after Lunar New Year.
If it is anything Like the Scrowns or the hat&cane I will be happy. View attachment 1264914View attachment 1264915View attachment 1264916View attachment 1264917
No one, other than GPI/Paulson, has made a new compression clay mold in probably 15 years? BCC would have been the last, right? These are ceramic with a space in the middle for a label. The purpose of the label is 2 fold. a) Better printing on Vinyl than on the "ceramic" chip material and b) it eliminates spinners as it eliminates the possibility of a high spot in the middle of the chip which is what causes spinners. Are these going to be for clay or ceramic ? I enjoy the web.
Awesome thanks for the info. New here trying to gain some knowledge. No one, other than GPI/Paulson, has made a new compression clay mold in probably 15 years? BCC would have been the last, right? I don't yet have a sample of this web mold hybrid, but I do have samples of both the new greek and the cap-dash/Scrown and both are excellent. I would expect this one will be excellent as well.
No clue. I just used the Paulson design tool and then sent it to Tina then she mocked it up and I approved it.Hey, would you mind sharing the color code for the pink in the .25s, as well as the three colors of the 5$? Would you also send samples to Europe? I'll gladly cover the cost + some for the effort.Hoping to get some color samples by early March to send out.
