You're going to want these as hybrids, trust me.Wait wait wait, these are awesome!! Happy I stumbled on this and definitely would choose this over the cards mold!
Is there a chance that the web mold can be made regularly instead of as a hybrid?
Why would you not want it as a hybrid. Hybrid is far superior to printing directly onto the ceramic chip. Much clearer and more detailed.Wait wait wait, these are awesome!! Happy I stumbled on this and definitely would choose this over the cards mold!

Does the sticker offer anything besides better print quality? Maybe a bit of weight too? You're going to want these as hybrids, trust me.
Sorry that's two different molds they have to make.Wait wait wait, these are awesome!! Happy I stumbled on this and definitely would choose this over the cards mold!

It's cool. It adds coolness.Does the sticker offer anything besides better print quality? Maybe a bit of weight too?
I’m just trying to avoid any potential peeling or discoloring
I guess some designs don’t need super high quality printing, but also see my post just below yours. Why would you not want it as a hybrid. Hybrid is far superior to printing directly onto the ceramic chip. Much clearer and more detailed.
Got it, thanks! Would these cost the same amount as the Justin hybrids?Sorry that's two different molds they have to make.
Don't ask my I'm a King not an alchemist.
Why would you be concerned about peeling or discoloring? Has that happened to you before with other labeled chips? I've never heard of that issue regarding chinese made chips like Milanos, Majestics or Royals. If they don't peel or discolor, why would these?Does the sticker offer anything besides better print quality? Maybe a bit of weight too?

I can’t think of any chip art that wouldn’t benefit from high-quality printing.I guess some designs don’t need super high quality printing…
I'm not doing another 100,000 group buy.
I actually thought about that once, way back when. Probably not out of the realm of possibility...Can they add grooves into the edges like real clay chips?
Wow that’s way better than cards mold at $0.40 + reshipping. Hats off to you if you sell these without a profit. Maybe you’re the Robin Hood of Chinese ceramics….or perhaps the benevolent king.View attachment 1265072
Plus shipping. That's the price through my chip wife/queen/Tina.
Justin has his own pricing for obvious reasons.
I'm not doing another 100,000 group buy.
I’ve had some stickers peel on me before and it’s a bit tilting. Was just something I was trying to avoid if possible, especially since I’m sure the quality of direct printing on the chip is good enough for me from all the cards mold examples posted on PCF.Why would you be concerned about peeling or discoloring? Has that happened to you before with other labeled chips? I've never heard of that issue regarding chinese made chips like Milanos, Majestics or Royals. What grooves? Can they add grooves into the edges like real clay chips?
Better look, feel and sound with the sticker on there. No one is buying a "non Labeled" chip once these are perfected. The one thing that is left to perfect is some sort of label that either a) matches the base color perfectly or b) (more unlikely) an actual mold with the shapes in the mold. This would get expensive, but not impossible as each different shaped inlay would require it's own separate mold. Until one of those two things happens people are going to want to continue buying chips that have the entire face of the chip printed so you can get the look of a shaped inlay.Does the sticker offer anything besides better print quality? Maybe a bit of weight too?

I'm sure it would be possible, but would you really want this? You know that those "grooves" are made by putting the chips on a lathe? They disappear quickly as the compression clay chips get use which isn't going to happen with ceramicsCan they add grooves into the edges like real clay chips?
No. We were just joking around. At least I was.I'm sure it would be possible, but would you really want this? You know that those "grooves" are made by putting the chips on a lathe? They disappear quickly as the compression clay chips get use which isn't going to happen with ceramics
Correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it @SeanGecko convinced "Tina" to make this mold at Tina's expense and is having this done so anyone here can order directly from Tina. I would expect that there will continue to be small Group Buys to keep the cost of shipping down and as a matter of convenience for both the buyers and the seller.Wow that’s way better than cards mold at $0.40 + reshipping. I didn't really think you or @TheOffalo were serious, but I do believe @elemeno was genuinely confused by the commentsNo. We were just joking around. At least I was.
Makes sense, I didn’t know he had a custom mold just for him. I knew Justin made a profit because of the vendor tag, and I think his economies of scale still saves people money when factoring shipping from China to the US for single orders.Correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it @SeanGecko convinced "Tina" to make this mold at Tina's expense and is having this done so anyone here can order directly from Tina. In the case of Justin, he has paid to have the mold made and has an agreement with Tina that she only sells to him or at the very least with his permission. Because of this, he has the right/ability to add a few ¢ into the final price for some profit for him. I don't think this is any big secret, but might not be widely known.

Also @elemeno you are not comparing apples to apples there. The prices in Sean's post are before shipping from China. When you buy cards mold at 40 cents in a group buy, that is after shipping from China.Correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it @SeanGecko convinced "Tina" to make this mold at Tina's expense and is having this done so anyone here can order directly from Tina.
