That is not what I meant. I meant a groove like this does blur the ink, this is an example of that. Just like it will do on an edge spot. You say that is on the designer and shouldn’t have printed close to the ring yet you want to make a pattern the whole way around the edge and not think people will see it? And same with my other comment. You are taking it too literal and not picturing it with the Greek mold. I mean do whatever you guys like. I was just trying to bring up a possible problem. I don’t need talked out of my opinion. Justin gets it… carry on.

I'm not going to put lettering where the mold pattern is. And I'll recommend no one else does either. If the edge spots blur a little down inside the recess, I'm not overly concerned about that.

Anytime I hear a perspective like that, I always come back to this question - do top hats and canes go with every theme?

They literally go with almost NO theme. And yet here we are with them being the most popular clay chip mold.

Well just like the discussion earlier in the thread, very clear that it can’t handle text that falls into the mold. But other than that, guess this genie is officially out of the bottle.

Well, normally I don't design chips anymore but if this mold becomes a thing, I'd happily create the design you already asked me (and even if you want to use one of the exsting mold).
