I like the idea of some of these. Greek mold is the winner by far among what we started with. Maybe I will add some of these and do a new poll. Either way it will be a bit of a gamble on our part as we will need a combined order of 20,000. There won’t be a mold made and samples. It will be made and the first order produced.

I'm in agreement. Any feedback for the current lightning bolt mockup? I could put something new together to make it a bit betterLightning bolt still needs tweaking. I just tossed it out there as an idea. Cigar mold is still my top choice since I host for mostly cigar guys. Wait, I told my wife I'm done buying more chips. I don't even need more cards molds.
Then this week I also considered selling my only Paulson set (cash) left to get a Triton poker table because having a nice folding table would help with garage space (would help out with all the wife bitching). Then changed my mind to just somehow cover my existing table that has built-in cup holders on the playing field, which I never liked and add a custom table topper. I don't host many tourneys yet I had to have Aria's CM tourney and then ordered 1000 custom CM custom tourneys and of course needed some 43mm cash CM cash set so I don't wear out the Paulsons. I hate this place. No matter what I do, I always have ragrets.
Ceramic is different from clay. I am beginning to question whether it is a good idea to even go with a mold. I would think no mold would be the way to go, but maybe I am wrong?
The "no mold" has always been available. It's a good option if you like a standard, smooth ceramic chip. The attraction to many (me) of cards mold is that it is intended to emulate a compressed clay chip. Me personally - I like clay chips, debossed features, and edge spots a LOT more than smooth ceramic chips. Which is why I went all in for cards mold soon after joining PCF and meeting @SeanGecko (the King!)I have yet to put my hands on samples. My question is does the card mold look out of place? Are there members who wish they went with no mold instead?
Agreed. It looks like a mishaped bow tie.The cherry works well for a vintage casino. The lightning bolt is hideous lol
THAT is on the designer. We have the dimension of the debossed circle/ I think it's 26mm, or maybe a little larger. I specifically requested a 25mm "Inlay" and only have color, not printing close to that ring. A problem like on that chip in your pic is easily resolved with proper design. Now picture this the whole way around the outside rim. Just trying to be helpful.

Can't dye-sub print in a recess.Like the Sunflys? Yes. Those are cool. I was suggesting a recessed inlay without a sticker an no mold.
I challenge anyone to toss this chip and 10 others on the table, and find this one within 5 seconds. This is an incredible level of nit picking. No one, I repeat - NO ONE is going to see something like this during a game. Not to mention, we are talking about BUDGET LEVEL CHIPS. Ever see a $5-$10 Pauson chip with edge spots that aren't perfect? Of course you have! Truth is, I don't want my edge spots to be perfect, for this exact reason, The less perfect they are, the more they resemble real clay chips! You should probably throw those away
Squirrel with Hanging NutsHow about a cock and balls mold…️️

Nice for a Caesars theme.if the Greek pattern is combined with the palm trees = Laurel leaf

That one makes me dizzy....if the Greek pattern is combined with the palm trees = Laurel leaf

That is not what I meant. I meant a groove like this does blur the ink, this is an example of that. Just like it will do on an edge spot. You say that is on the designer and shouldn’t have printed close to the ring yet you want to make a pattern the whole way around the edge and not think people will see it? And same with my other comment. You are taking it too literal and not picturing it with the Greek mold. I mean do whatever you guys like. I was just trying to bring up a possible problem. I don’t need talked out of my opinion. Justin gets it… carry on.THAT is on the designer. We have the dimension of the debossed circle/ I think it's 26mm, or maybe a little larger. I really like this one, but would it be too limiting? Would anything not "Western" themed work on it?Tweaked the Stetson/Arrow design to make the arrow more prominent, and the hat more "curvy" as to look less like a top hat at a glance. Also tried an inverse and alternating orientations.

I personally think anything themed would be limiting unless it's a general poker/casino theme. Horseshoe, cowboy hat, palm trees.. etc. They might be cool but I don't think someone will want a cowboy hat on a beach theme chip and vise versa. I like the gangster or joker hat idea better. Seems like there has to be something that would work for all chip designs. Someone needs to go walk around a casino with this idea in mind. $$ signs??I really like this one, but would it be too limiting? Would anything not "Western" themed work on it?

Anytime I hear a perspective like that, I always come back to this question - do top hats and canes go with every theme?I personally think anything themed would be limiting unless it's a general poker/casino theme. I get it, but to me that represents a gentlemen. Like classic old casino. Plus it's been around so long now, we all know it as a poker chip mold.Anytime I hear a perspective like that, I always come back to this question - do top hats and canes go with every theme?
I believe, like dice or cards, those have become synonymous with vice and gambling because of the history of Paulson.Anytime I hear a perspective like that, I always come back to this question - do top hats and canes go with every theme?
Just repeated around the rim?Anyone be so kind to do a mock up of the above?
Well…the balls worked, but the cock emoji got censored.
Maybe a version similar to the old Palms chip?Just repeated around the rim?
Is Dave's point worth considering. Would six images be better than eight?
