Official Home Game Pics Thread! (86 Viewers)

No pictures yet.. but with my state finally lifting everything...I am hosting the first home game since February next week. Feels like it's been a year...anyone else feel the same way?

Our crew hasn’t played live since February either. Called off our March game the week it was supposed to happen. It’s been the longest (and at the same time, quickest) 4 months ever! Looking forward to getting everyone together again. However, our game may be on hold for just a little longer.

Tuesday Tourney 12 players n ended up chopping it with 4 left :) @wonderpuddle brought the cash game chips but forgot to take pics lol

NC never flattened out and number of case continue to rise. I don't know when we be able to do a in-face home game.

How are those Sahara Reno $1s? I've never handled more than singles, but I was considering making them into a limit set.
I really like them! And love the mold!
They feel and sound just like old ASM chips... maybe slightly heavier? Certainly harder than Paulsons.
Being uncirculated, they’re still heavily textured and sharp/square edged, so somewhat harder to shuffle. They’re definitely a beige color, contrary to many pics I’ve seen that make them look much “whiter”... but that’s not a bad thing IMO. Only thing I could see as being a, eventual, problem is the hot stamp is not deep at all. I’m going to guess the foil will wear off on these MUCH faster than that of a stamped Paulson. That said, there are tons of them out there and available, and the (general) price is fantastic, so if ever there’s a need to replace any... it shouldn’t be difficult or costly!

Every one that played with them last night also seemed to like them, and I’d say they’re well worth the investment!! Especially for a limit set... and will be even better, come July, once @Apache Sahara plaques hit the market!!!

Also of note... Absolutely no way you can fit 20/barrel in a Paulson rack. However, they fit snug as a bug in my el cheapo racks that came with my birdcage.

Wait, wait, wait.... You are playing in a room you have dedicated to the city of Boston, with chips that say New York on them? o_O

(Glad you are able to get some live play in.)
I respect all venues. PNYs are great by the way! Already had two coolers in thirty minutes!

First game in the bean town room. 5 handed. All the stops in place.

End result, -$230! These PNYs did not appreciate my Bostonian felt lol. I'd like to say I at least had a good time but a couple players were overly drunk and it was a handful keeping them in line. Had some pizza sauce on my felt, rail, and racetrack. Some not following protocol for mask wearing etc etc. Suffice to say as a trial run, this game was not very successful and I'll likely hold off on hosting for now! I just wanted to use my chippies :wow:
