Was going with the Cali hot stamp theme. Had the chips ready to go, and then a couple last minute cancellations. Do you guys have problems with that? It seems like every week it’s a struggle to keep everyone committed.
Ugh $2.67/chip seems like a steal now :nailbite: nice pickup

SOHE has caught on in our mix. Thanks @Rhodeman77!

I pondered for years how to best utilize those Frequency chips, to no avail. Eventually sold them, even though I really liked the color/spot combo.

Turning them into $5s and pairing them with those relabeled $1s is genius. Well done!

So my fantasy football league has been drafting in Vegas for the past decade or so. And because of covid, this years trip was cancelled. One of the guys in the league decided to host the draft at his place today, with a little casino night after. The guy’s seven year old learned how to play poker during COVID, saw us setting up the table and asked if he could play. We told him minimum buyin was $40 so he jumped out of the pool, ran up to his room and grabbed $40 out of his piggy bank. So we let him buy in.

About a half hour in, he checks the river when a third heart hits. His opponent bets pretty big and the kid shoved all in. Opponent calls only to find out his top two pair was beaten by a flush. Seven year old check raises to win a monster pot and ends up cashing out for $73.

After poker, we threw down the craps felt and played $1 gets you $10 in chips. So fun:

Then played a little $1 roulette:

Definitely made missing out on a Vegas draft sting a little less.

Just had our seasonal "PokerMania" tournament this past weekend. 14 players, $50 buy-in, 2x $25 re-buys. First place won $526, I came away with third ($157). A fun 8-hour tournament!

Don't have the cool custom chips like many of you have, that's my goal one day. And a better second table too! Our club is just getting off the ground and we've got about 17-18 regulars that meet each week in my basement. It's been fun building it up!

Taking a 7-year olds piggy bank money would make be feel like shit.

Being out-played by a 7-year old would make me reconsider playing poker.
I don't care if you're 70-IQ, .17 BAC, 7 years old, 107 years old, 007, Henry VII, Pope Clement VII, or the 7th Dr. Who, you step to the poker table with $$, I'm trying to take it and won't feel the least bit bad about it. There are some gambling lessons I wish I'd learned at 7 instead of 27, would have been cheaper.
