@5aces was nice enough to invite me into his sanctuary!
First, we played a quick sit and go with his amazing AS set.

I ran with 18bb into JJ in a blind battle with a measly A8o to make me the bubble boy in place 3.
@5aces used my chips well to close out the tourney for 1st - ironically with the same hand that doomed me.

We played a little microstakes cash right after where my constant bluffing somehow did not work at all ( :wtf: ) to put me another €10 in the hole.
All worth it of course to play with these fine people on this sexy MGM set.

In for €70, out for €60.

Had a $0.25/$0.50 cash game tonight. Switched to a main table and a feeder table for this game (and future games), favoring the players that get here on time, with the feeder table having a minimum of 4 players. We had 6 at the main table and 4 at the feeder table until someone left and we all went to the main table. In for $350, out for $50. I don’t know if I’ve ever run so bad. Actually feels kind of good to have a big loss and I don’t feel like it was because of bad play.

Just got back a little while ago from a dinner/game a buddy hosted. It was kinda crazy - probably like 4 different circles of friends and a "kids" group as well (jr high to graduated college) - 1 "adult"/no limit poker table, 1 "jr adult"/limit table, 1 kids tournament table downstairs, and 1 mahjong table (lol) with rotating players. A lot of strangers meeting strangers but fortunately no problems or aholes (even with alcohol free flowing too).

I've known the host since high school and was maybe the 4th person there so I got to sit at the NL table. Dealer's choice but we primarily played 1/2 NLHE and 1/2 PLO/("pineapple" - dealt 5, discard 1 Omaha) - mainly because a few of the guys weren't familiar with all the usual non-standard games we play. Lots of crazy hands/multi-player showdowns but unfortunately my phone ran out of juice and I only got to take a couple of pictures. Please excuse the cheapo chips - it was either these or dice chips (!)... (the yellow 10k chips were just for declaring/legs/shuffling)

PLO - The guy who was pointing took high with his straight flush (the two other players in tied for low). He had the three highest hands of the night at our table - 2 straight flushes and quads. At the time of this pic, I had bought in for $100 and was up a little bit.

This was his other straight flush, also PLO - he had Q9 and two other people (not me) were in with him (!). My phone died just then so I didn't get the showdown/reveal - sorry!

We played from about 2:45pm to about 1:30am and I got felted 3 times (1 bad beat, 2 bad decisions - haha). Bought in a 4th time and somehow managed to make it back into the black by the end of the night. In for $400, out for ~$450. I usually don't buy in that much (I'll tap out after losing $200) but we were using my chips so... (and the thought of just getting my chips back from him later on somehow never crossed my mind lol). :D

Tourney today! Goooo Browns!

Action shot from last nights game won by @krafticus He won on his birthday and one of my regs declared “hey Mark, we all pitched in and decided to give you $1,000 for your birthday:ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Also shown here are @Cliff @kirchhausen and a local player known as buffalo to some here

I was a donkey and busted very early although in my defence folding is boring.

Yeah that’s pretty standard stuff in Omaha. If the money went in after board paired I’d say you had a bit of a C*** punt. If it ran out that way then it’s just the lovely Omaha variance. Embrace the variance!
The money went in on the turn. Only a Q or 8 could have done me and as you can see one came out of the deck and pulled my underpants over my head  :ROFLMAO:
