Saturday 1/2 mixed game at my place with @Grandmasturkey and @Pawn38 in attendance.

Put my Tropicana set in play:

Cruising along, minding my own business and chipping up:

And then it happened. The last orbit was Omaha and this was the very last friggin hand of the night.

Hero is dealt Ac-As-8c-6d, raise preflop, get two calls. Flop comes 5c-7d-4c. Villain bets $40 into me. I briefly consider just smooth calling with the nut straight and redraw to the A-high flush, but decide to pop it to $140. Other player folds, action back to villain, who thinks for a second, then calls. Turn is 2c and it all goes in for a $1,800-plus pot.

We both hit a straight on the flop -- me with the 8-high straight, villain with the dummy end but a redraw to the straight flush -- and we both hit our money card on the turn. Well, the money, literally and figuratively, for the villain.

Did I mention this was the last hand of the night? Ugh!

Poker is truly a sick game we love to play.

In for 50, down 30. Got the group back together tonight for another round.

Edit: In for 50, out for 295. Lost about 100 with QQ vs KK. All in all a good night with friends.

And hour and a half in, we have another straight flush....nice chop guys. I'd like something other than 83 please

1st live game of the year (really?!)! Short handed, but with great players! Thanks @OfficerLovejoy for meeting you here in the middle of nowhere. ;)
Did you build the table? I have a similar table but want to raise the rail. Not sure the best way to dude this on an already built table

Bink!

Turning point of the game for me was this hand. For almost two whole orbits, four of us were trading chips. I went all in twice and ended up splitting both times with each villain.

I picked up AK in the small blind and shoved with a little over 10 BB that BB called off. Had him dominated preflop and the flop pretty much sealed it with BB drawing dead to runner runner 10's or runner runner Q J.

This is what basically sealed the heads up part for me. Rivered a 3 and cracked villain's aces. It was just my night I guess. I was on life support from pretty much the third break when it was five handed around 6 to 10 BB at any given time until the AK hand above.

First homegame in over a year and first game in the new house! I forgot to take good pics but these anonymized ones are better than nothing. Thanks @HMK for attending and lending me your amazing HMK poker mat!

22 players were to attend, but I got 4 last minute cancellations, so we started with 6 at each table.

I was chipleader with 10 remaining, 3 hands later and I was out! ;-)

Great cashgame attendance post tournament, I think 13 spread over two tables.

Super Poker World topper was a hit! @IllCallOneTime was referring to the set up change (cards) he requested mid game because it was a cold deck and then proceeded to take all my chips  :ROFLMAO:

What @TricycleClub said is accurate. The topper was exceptional. My cards were not lol

Got the opportunity to borrow a Shufflemaster. Wow... great to use. I can't say its worth the ~$5k used (to me), but it sure was nice.

I was dealt this hand in SOHE. I split it into 8899 (omaha) and 66 (hold-em). Ended up running out with quad nines for omaha. I think my 66 held up for best in hold-em too.

Fun night, great people. Ended up finishing down $86 in the game though... so it goes.
