Nice looking chips! What was the original chip on the pink fracs?
Terrible secondary fracs

Question - and feel free to PM me if you don't want to sidetrack this thread. Why do some people not like racetracks?

I think it's more the playability aspect than it is an aesthetic one. Trying to pick up your cards off of a piece of wood is just annoying. And transferring chips to and from the center is often clumsy with a inlaid racetrack. Also, when you're winning and have a lot of chips, it's awkward to have half on the wood and half on the felt. Sure, they might look pretty sometimes, but I can't stand stand them, personally. To each their own.

Thanks! Some good information to consider.

Count me in the anti-racetrack group. I got a poker table to stop playing on wooden kitchen tables.

Over the weekend. An international game, three Russians and two Ukrainians joined us for a couple of weeks. Nothing war related, they were all coming here before then. True to form, they drink a lot. A lot before they got here for the game, a lot during the game, and a lot during the cash game. But they brought some Jefferson’s and a pre-release tequila and they lost all their money so it’s all good.

Wooden race track AND giant photo inlay RHCs? May the gods be ever on your side!

I was going to say something fun about you being a flipper and only keeping mediocre cpc sets. Instead I'll just call you a dick. You do know that you're allowed to not say anything? Actually, probably preferred.

Busting out the CPC customs for a third time, non-chipping friends said they were "breaking in nicely" and "easier to shuffle" haha. Also debuting these Fournier EPT cards, they were amazing. Realised my local card room also uses Fournier, just never noticed. It's such an upgrade on copag.

EDIT: also shout out to @Himewad for the bomb pot button! debuting that for the first time too.

The calm before the storm….. running 4 tables with 31 confirmed players tomorrow night. Horse Racing game will also be introduced to the group. Hopefully @WedgeRock brings his A game.

Am I the only one who sees pics like this and goes to google maps to see how long it would take to drive there? Just over 5 hours, my wife would not be amused!
