Thanks for taking pics and documenting things Eric! Was indeed a fun long day of poker. Could not win a race ever in tournament it seemed but that’s the way it goes. Was able to crush both cash games for a $12 profit.

This says a lot, we have a ton of great hosts in southern Michigan. You may be the best at it my friend!

Thanks for hosting. Thanks for the Angel's Envy. Thanks for dinner. Thanks for making that pot of coffee after dinner. And thanks for the introduction to two new chip sets.

Always a great time at your house, Mike.

More photos from last night. Ran hot the first hour. My two pairs were good every time I picked them up

Slowed down second hour but was still healthy at about 18K going into the rebuy period

20220402_203528.jpg

It got down to four players with avg stack around 22K, worked up to about 30K, lost an all in on a flop of 2 4 5 two diamonds with KQ to J 7 of diamonds with the 7 coming on the turn. Got me down to about 9K. I picked up two decent hands in a row and picked up 4 more BB's to get back up to 10 BB's

My break came when I shoved A 9 and got called by JQ with the 9 coming on the flop to seal the win

Lost some three handed by shoving QQ with K 10 calling for his tournament life, king hit on the turn though:(

That brought me back down to 18K with about 9 BB's left. I outplayed the other two guys to get back to average stack with all of us within 5K of each other. I waited for villain on my right and 2nd place in the league to shove in a bad spot as I really liked my chances against who I was going heads up with.

I went into heads up play with a 2:1 deficit in chips, but I was able to flat out outplay a passive, risk adverse player heads up to spin up my stack and eventually take it down. I'm proud of myself with this one to be down to 5 BB's and roar back to win the whole thing.

Wow those chips really look great! Semi-custom, right? Do you mind sharing the colors?

Well... news flash! Ben took a grand total of zero pictures last night... but luckily I handed my phone to our good friend Dave last night at @krafticus game. After nearly 3 years of talking at least a couple times a week and only living about 2 hours apart @FordPickup92 and I finally got to meet the celebrity known as @Thisfiendis138
20220402_212844.jpg

From left to right... @Thisfiendis138 (Jamie) , @FordPickup92 , some weird dude that ran into the picture announcing "I am the great corn Holeio" and I am on the right... lmao

Obviously that is not Jamie on the left... that is a our amazing friend Mrs. Marge , walker and all this amazing woman almost never misses a game!

Also @pltrgyst there in the background is a rare "White Buffalo" sighting. Unfortunately we only got his "good side" in that photo. I have had the pleasure if drawing a seat next to Andy for the last two tournies, I told him his buddy Larry asks about him on the regular, we are hoping you make it up for a reunion game sometime.

I sucked, Brie took 4th, called it a night as we have a meet up next week, plenty of poker yet to be played.

PS: Jamie is and awesome dude!!

Not at all!

T25, T100, and T500 are the stock options. The semi custom T1000 is DG Tiger base with retro blue 614 spots

Ah, thanks! As soon as I scrolled down to that pic, I wondered if that was Buff/Andy. Good to see he's taking time off from his facebook music postings to play some poker...

We'll get up to DC sometime later this year after we get back from our European wandering. Some poker would be nice!

I won't tell him and get his hopes up... but that would be awesome buddy. Even if there isn't anything going on, Brie and I would happily host a game, but unfortunately Finksburg, MD is a bit off the beaten path. Either way I can assure you Andy, (Brie and I) would absolutely love dinner and some felt time. Let me know if it is going to happen and we will see what we can do.

@krafticus game is typically the second Saturday of the month and he is still between the Beltways which is pretty convenient for everyone.

Would love to see ya Larry!

Always a great time at your house, Mike.

@WedgeRock we need to get @mike32 over to my house one of these times and I need to get in the invite list next time you all play.

I will make it a point to get you on my invite list. You could probably sign on as a tournament sub in our league as well. I also plan to attend one of your events when I’m around as they look awesome and are so close!

My starting stack :sneaky: seat 1 table 1 on the MD table:love:
Btw Rocky Gap chip not very lucky :cautious:
But more importantly! Huge thank you to @krafticus for the invite! Lovely home and runs a great game! I wish I could’ve stayed longer
Real pleasure to share a table with you and @arch3r! Great meeting you both! MD Chipping Legends! And the super rad Side Show Poker Set! Best chips I’ve ever had the privilege of playing and it’s not even close!

Forgot to post some in-game pics from the Hammer Room this past weekend. Fun night! The mega bottle of Willets made an appearance.

In for 160 out for 435 - not bad for a .25/.50 game! I think I'll keep this Bullet Bill card protector for next time...

Ben had me going there. I was thinking, wow, I've talked with Jamie and he (she?) even played on my site. Had no idea she was a woman! LOL!
