Introduction into the harsh world of the felt, for the Athenian Owls V2 this evening

My healthy stack, mid-game

In for 100E, out for 0 on the last hand, and this is how (I 'm the Q-10 and the flop is on the right)

Overall, a great evening.
I 'm proud that my invention, "cuckoo hold'em" is becoming ever more popular (three hole cards dealt, one discarded upon seeing the flop, and the 2 remaining hole cards are both obligatory to use).

I 've also invented a new delicate compromise between traditional Greek hospitality and continuous poker hosting by a single sucker (myself) which is to buy -as the host- the food of losers only, while winners pay their share (and people BYOB anyway)

Last Saturday's game was the biggest since 2015. 22 players, including 6 PCFers.

Nobody went home hungry. I tri-cooked* two pork shoulders and the guests brought the rest as nearly nobody arrives empty-handed.

A little game of "guess the card capper" behind my starting stack. Sadly, the stack never got much bigger.

The eventual winner with her sippy cup of tequila. Downed nearly 7/8 of the bottle by herself, and binked. That's living life right.

*Tri cooked = What happens around noon when Mrs Zombie asks what time I should start the smoker for the pork shoulders, and I say "Oh about 5-6 hours ago".

Cook 1: fire oven to 425 and put 3 of the 4 halves into the oven for 20 minutes, then drop temp to 300, and progressively keep dropping the temp until at 170.
Cook 2: Drop shoulder half 4 into a pressure cooker with pineapple juice and cook for 45 minutes. When done, rotate with one of the oven halves.
Cook 3: Load the grill with apple wood and finish the pork with the smoke.

Hosted my first ever home game and it was a deep stack bounty tournament. Starlite Card Molds were in play tonight! They're so colorful!

Here are some pics including the hand of the night! I finished 3rd with 16 entries. Now of to WPT Choctaw's Mammoth event and Main Event Satellites! Let's keep it going!

I bought a sweet room divider to section off the rest of the house from the formal living room.

Went with @Chris Manzoni 's Alt Tournament (No T25s) Structure. It went pretty smooth!
