It’s been a roller coaster

Thanks. I was just wondering does the topper have to match totally in size so it doesn't flip over when leaning on it...
A little bit of overhang shouldn’t be an issue at all (my Chanman topper has about 3” of overhang). A heavier topper probably helps with that though vs. a lighter/flimsier topper.

I've played on a flimsy topper on bar tables. The rail was useless as a drink in the cupholder would fall to the floor due to the amount of overhang (pretty much the entire rail). While it was sub-optimal, it was better than playing on the bare tables.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Those run of the mill toppers seem to often have nothing more than thick cardboard as the base.

My Chanman topper is basically a regular poker table without legs with a solid plywood base. Pretty solid, even with bigger guys leaning on the rail. I didn't put cup holders in my topper though - I use side tables. Didn't trust my players not to spill their drinks all over my nice table and chips! :ninja:

Not a hot dog roller, but a huge success nonetheless. My players really appreciated being treated with hot dog sandwiches!
