Oh, I would NEVER use the TRKs. They are just for sitting on the shelf and looking amazing.
The TRKs only get used by those worthy of them!! BETTER RESPECT THEM!!!

Maiden voyage for the new topper and broke my downswing! Everyone loved FINALLY having a betting line.
This is funny to me because my table is a racetrack. So the chips are on the track and the felt is the betting area. Last Friday night, for the first time ever at my game, a player complained about my table not having a betting line. Apparently the wood transitioning to speed cloth wasn’t distinctive enough for him.

I would love to know how these chips play compared to some of the other plastics out there. They look awesome.

Thanks,

Having owned the following plastics in set or samples, this is In my own option how I rank them

Favorited in decreasing order

-B&G & Abbiati (I like both and can't really decided which I like more so they share the first place, they felt a grade higher than the rest for me)
-BJ CIC
-Matsui (My sample is the Matsui ABS colour version)
-Gemaco
-BJ S2 (My sample is the unweighted S2 version)
-ICON (They felt like better quality slugged stock Plastic to me, avoid them)

A few pix from this Wednesday's game. I was especially bad with photos this time.

As usual, nickel/dime blinds game, this time with the Arizona Clubs as drawn by last sessions big winner. The $1 bet here into this river was a bit of a f-you bet, that led to a call which was actually a trap by the recipient of the f-you bet, leading to a rather spicy final pot that I didn't get a pic of.

A "please become a straight-flush" that didn't.

...and a three-way chopped pot on a board that beat everything else.

In for $10 and out for $8 on another fun mid-week game. One of the participants brought a couple growlers of beer for the crew from where she works, which was a big hit, as one would expect. I probably should start start taking pics of the beer that shows up from my crew too add to these. There's some pretty good stuff that shows up.

Random draw from the big winner has the California Club tribute set in play next time in a couple weeks.

(I need to tweak my photo settings with my phone for these shots. The felt is a dark burgundy that either over-exposes the cards and chips, or makes it look like we're playing on a black felt. )

Super poker world chips arrived just in time for our Friday night game. Ended up with ~$65 of about $170 total table buy in so it was a good night for me. Not sure if this violates forum guidelines, but one of the gals brought some nudie novelty cards we played a few hands with... They made for a funny contrast with the Mario themed chips. Ignore the nasty felt, I'm trying to decide on a design for a real topper :x. Had an impromptu 9th which made for a tight table fit, but they took off early anyhow.

Got a chance to play at @Trihonda 's Fat Tire poker room last night. What a great game and host! By far the best ran home game I have ever attended, skilled players, good chips, good table and fast play. Thanks again for the invite!

I also got to meet two great guys @HanShot1st and @BukNaked36 who were also in attendance. In for $60, ran down to around $30 within the first hour before doubling up on a straight. Ran the stack up over $200 at one point before cashing out at around $160.

@HanShot1st sat to my right and was crushing it last night, not sure where he cashed out but was up over $400 at one point.

Well, if one of the gals brought those cards, I think you should let her do the design of the real topper.

Side note: If you lay thin blanket under the temporary felt, you will get effective padding. It's been many years since I've had to play on a makeshift surface like that, but it can make a remarkable improvement.

Im usually pretty good about remembering my hole cards but I'd recheck these a few times.

One of my weekly home games, 50c/$1 this time . Fun as always
