Last game while family is in town and finally got to meet @citationjeff . This site has been awesome for ideas and making new friends! Everyone had a great time.

There isn't a card for Derailment in the Circus Card Deck, so he just put one together on an index card. It was a new game to our group, so yeah, I guess a cheat card to pass around so everyone could learn how to play it.
That said, it's a fantastic action circus game. Some circus games are crazy to play, but don't promote much action end up almost always being aggressive 2-way chops for splitting up a limited amount of pre-flop money. Derailment definitely moves the needle.

Me and the youngest son had (have) the house to ourselves for the weekend, and boys will be boys. Saturday: a coupe of players over for ribeyes off the grill for lunch, then 9-ball for from 3-6 followed by poker until 2:00 am. Today, the eldest son and some friends are coming to house from college for Super Bowl festivities. I am not sure what I have done to deserve being this content, but I am grateful.

I started off down $260 within the first hour , but was able to get back to even and even win a couple of bucks. In for $300, out for $322. The kid was up $456 before we finished the first orbit, but was unable to hold onto it by the time we cashed out.

GO EAGLES!

Had our club championship on Saturday. Collecting $5 from each buy in and rebuy all season ran up the total pot for the club championshp to $1.035. Not bad for a cheeseburger stakes game. Everybody was freerolling for this one. The boys were nice enough to let me win it again. I don't know how it happened, especially after one of the members brought homemade old fashioneds with absinthe in them. Maybe I had the least. Great group, great times!

@Highli99 turned a min stack into hanging around for quite a bit.

Awesome night, awesome group! New season starts in March!

Played a pretty nifty set the other night. Forgot to take starting stack pics but there were 16 runners:

T5 base isn't my preference but I came up with a structure that I think worked quite well. Zero complaints from anyone. I will post about it in another thread.

One does not simply go back to Canada without the Zombies theming the daylights out of the event.

Card capper, dealer buttons, and cut cards ready to go...

5 1/2 hours of Canadian artists put together for the background music

Canadian maple syrup fried chicken sandwiches with Canadian Bacon on the menu (no photo because its still 2 days before the game).

...and if the bounty markers arrive in time, the bounties will be themed as well.
