Where did you get those Caesar's Palace chips? :p
They are cards molds tributes. Check out the group buys for various options.

I hate them. They get slippery once you shuffle them (which is why I donated this set to the host) but they are a great value if you can live with the feel.

Nice horse racing board. What brand is that?
Thanks.
Fineni (on Amazon). You can see more pics and discussion on options on the horse race thread:

First ever D.O.N.K.S. Tourney (rotating orbits of drawmaha, Omaha. NLHE, Krishe and scarney) was a hit.

PCF represented well as @WhiteMamba1646 took it down after a short heads up battle with me, and @TricycleClub took third to jump to first in overall league standings.

Just hosted a game yesterday with a group I have been playing poker with for over 30 years. Some... not all are in this photo. Was glad to have @Shaggy and someone from my home group (Duane) join us. Had a great time and was lucky enough to have a good buddy come and grill us up some awesome burgers and dogs.....along with some great cookies and brownies. Had to make "THE CHILI" Had a blast Hope to host again later this year. Some UNREAL prizes were given to the winners of the early and late high hands of the night. Money was no object picking these prizes.

This past Saturday was game #3 for the Zombie Poker Dinner Club.

Dinner featured cilantro-lime chicken - one tamer and one with jalapeños. Sides included pasta salad (two varieties, plus a third small one for a vegan), corn pudding, Mexican corn bread, snake bites (small flavorful meats), and cheese/meats/crackers. (Photo is from before all the people with sides arrived).

Waaaaay too many desserts, but some very tasty ones! Bourbon pie, chocolate-dipped cookie dough (made with sweet and condensed milk instead of eggs), cup cakes, cookies, and creme pies.

Due to late cancelations, we started with 18 people spread across 2 tables.

One humorous hand involved a bet from early/middle position, a raise all in by the small blind, and after thinking about it, a call by the first raiser. Turns out they both had pocket Jacks. No flush; split pot.

After that, I was heads down and forgot to take pictures. I did finish second!

You forgot to mention who finished 1st. :whistling:

Didn't forget. Choose not to mention that you won. ;)

I'm not a big NLHE tourney fan. I wouldn't miss an event if it was titled the "dinners club".
Food is a main part of the game. Plus, officially, people buy dinner and then play a game where we hand out prizes. Tennessee rules are prickly.
