Call me curious. So exactly how does an "all-in or fold" tournament work? Sounds like a great thing for players like me who don't really like playing in tournaments that take 4-5 hours. I'm guess this is over pretty quickly? Then on to cash games?

Much quicker than regular tourneys. I think my last one was 14 players and we were done in about 1.5 hours.

It’s pretty simple: When it’s your turn to act preflop, you either fold or you are all-in. If you win and cover, then you knock out player(s) and win bounties. If it folds to the big blind, that player wins the small blind and we keep moving on.

With a second deck always shuffling, it’s really fast action and a lot of folding. But it gets the gambling juices flowing because of how fast it moves. The only hard part is there can be a bunch of side pots to keep track of.

Pre game eats!

Flopping quad Aces (not me).

The hand of the night. Flopped straight vs flush draw vs 2 pair… and @Godzilla28 gets there with a gutter to a higher straight!

Managed to lose 440k tonight.

My game started up 19 years ago following a conversation in the work canteen. 5 of the original 8 regulars are still playing in my game.

All it takes is a conversation and before you know it you’re hosting a game. Then the trick is to keep your ears open for anyone else talking about poker and recruit them.

People will leave your game for one reason or another so always be on the lookout look for new players.

I think I'll have to find a regular game that needs to fill a seat every now and again. I travel a lot for work so there's no telling when I'll be gone. Life of a field engineer.

Ran two cash tables last night for my brothers 30th bday in a garage. $1/$1 blinds - fun game but I didn’t enjoy running two tables. Had much more fun when it combined to one.

In for $400 out for $432.

Broken arrow cards were not liked by the players - replaced them with copags only a few hands in.

Also suffered my first chip casualty :(
