Thanks to a tip from @Venturalvn, I decided to upgrade the seating with some casino grade chairs. A dramatic difference! First home game with them was Saturday night and they were a hit.

Here is a pic my wife took. Kind of a special night as four of my original poker crew from 20 years ago showed up. Many I haven’t played with in 5+ years! Faces blurred as I didn’t ask to post them on the interwebs.

Also featured is a new deck of Broken Arrow @justincarothers cards in play.

These look so good with your setup! Glad I am not yet steering anyone in a seemingly wrong direction. I'm in love with my chairs and I think the more people on the forum start to receive and review them, the more people will adopt them as well.

Your original charter may have found them comfortable enough to start playing again!

Yes hoping to get some of the old guys back. Kids and life broke the game up and since I started hosting again many of my newer players are new to cash …so I honestly didn’t really invite them as I didn’t want their reckless gambling to scare anyone off Now I think my new players can handle and even profit from some of them.

They were the reason I first got ASM chips, Kem Cards, and a decent table years ago 20 years ago. (It’s the 20th anniversary of the “Old State Club” BTW as you can see in the sign ) So a reason to celebrate with some legit chairs. We all played a lot in AC an all that stuff make a home game feel so legit and no rake! They love and actually appreciate that stuff.

6 and 6, then when a few guys left early we combined to one table of 9.
