Didn't get many hands so had to "improvise" more than normal. My best legit hand of the night was AK & I got my $ in bad vs. @SPR's KK. The Turn was kind to me...

IN for $100
OUT for $147

THANKS to @triton for the bottle of Platinum!!!
Thanks for hosting.

I was invited to a new game last night. Here are the chips that were in play. $0.25/$.50 NLH, $50 buy in.

See if you can guess the denominations.

When I asked about maybe using denominated chips or keeping it limited to three colors on the table at a time, I was greeted by blank stares.

White : Quarter

Red: 50 Cents

Blue: $1

Green: $2

Black: $5

Pink: $10

Overall, the game was very soft. Five way limped pots throughout the night, $2 river bets into pots that exceeded $30 and $10 bets into a pot of $2. I would say that at least 10 of the 16 players were very new to the game.

I ran the $50 buy in up to $120 early on, but had an unfortunate hand later on.

In the small blind with :kd::td:. 2 players in front of me limp, I complete and the big blind checks.

Flop comes: :kh::ks::4d:

I bet $4. Big blind calls and the button calls

Turn comes::jd:

I bet $12, big blind raises to $20 and the button folds. I re-raise and make it $40, big blind goes all in and has me covered. I snap call. In this particular game I don't think I would have played this any differently.

Big Blind turns over :kc::js: for a full house. :ROFLMAO:

With $12 bet min raise should have been $24 no?

Crazy night tonight.

$40 buyins quickly turned into playing with $100+ on the table. Very swingy and fun night for everybody, including but not limited to this hand.

I won a huge $150 dollar pot after getting a tell from the dude in the pink sweatshirt. I had a king on an ace high board and made the call.

In for $80, out for $190

What was the tell? Bleeding eye? Oreo eating?

After tanking for 30 seconds I looked him in his eye. He looked away from me, looked down and covered his mouth. Just had a gut feeling after that. He had pocket queens

I got a good tell yesterday that cost me Lol

Omaha

Me KK97

Flop
A 10 7

I bet $20
Villain calls

Turn
2

I bet $50
Villain calls

River
A

I reach for chips and villain says “call!”

I said I haven’t bet yet. So I just check. He checks behind

Villain shows QQ 4 9

The people to the right and left of me folded to the $50 bet and both had A.

I know I played it bad but whatevs~. I hate Omaha
