Flush
This past Saturday was our final event, the Zombie Poker Classic! We ended up with 19 players after 2 cancels.
This was our 15th year and we maintain a tradition of prime rib main. This year, it was salted and put in the fridge for 2 days, then sous vide for 24 hours, and then followed with a 1-1/2 hour smoke. It was wonderful! Sides included: mac and cheese, baked potatoes (with all the fixings), spicy Brussel sprouts, corn pudding, corn bread, rice with broccoli, tamales, cheese/meat/crackers, chip and dip

With 19, we started at 3 tables; as a freeze-out, we went down to 2 once we lost our first player.

Once there were 3 players out, the cash game ($0.25/$0.25) started. It built up over time to 2 tables and halted when we got to the final 3 players in the main event. Mostly NLHE was played in the cash game, but Omaha did make an appearance (and was new to several players). One weird NL hand had a couple people to the flop of 2K2, with betting down to 2 players. The turn was another K. The river was another 2. I wasn't in the hand, but expected either this to be flush over flush (with one having a K) or them to both have the K thinking the other does not. Instead, one player had the case 2!

As chemo is doing it's job and I'm low on hair, I dressed up as Kublai (our zombie) in "girl" mode with a wig! I didn't know when I ordered the wig it would match my Dammit Doll! LOL
