I didn't ask many follow-up questions. It was a story of a story, so I'm not sure if something was lost in playing telephone or what.

I assumed it was host got carried away playing without putting his cash in but who knows.

It was Polynesian night in the garage with Hawaiian shirts, mai-tais and a tiki-bar playlist that didn’t have a lot of tiki music (thanks Spotify).

Usually when I host/consume something falls through the cracks. This time it was the quality of the pics, but I’ll share what I have:

Benny is in the house for tonight’s game. Cmon big boy, bring me some run good!

Benny came through tonight and I binked the ten person STT with solid play and decent cards. Started out with two separate second best hands where I had to fold with pocket pairs against unfavorable turn cards which obviously helped my opponent and one hand where my Queens got walked to the cemetery by pocket aces. I survived and played my way back then doubled up twice in a row when I needed too. All in all a fine day of cards. Made a hero call against the perennial best player in our league and was right. Gonna remember how that felt. I really replayed the hand and made a good call when he moved in before me with more chips, we were on the money bubble, I had second pair with pocket jacks, there was a queen on the turn. He showed A 3 for nothing! Survived the River and went on to the win.

Massive cooler in a crazy pineapple bomb pot couple minutes after this picture was taken. I have AAK discard the K on a flop of A35 turn comes the 3 and I boat up river inconsequential 9 and river ends up going raise reraise jam call and I lose to 33 and I lose more than half my stack.
