Late to conversation, but I must say, we all share the same disease.Haha. I do this as well.
I commented as we were playing that this one is sticking around for a looooooong time.
Got the Binion Horseshoes into action for the first time last night. .25/.50 NLHE with some .10/.10 PLO to kick the night off.
GREAT CHIPS!!!!! Just curious....... I have a similar set and they are so cool.....what condition are your $1's and $5's? I have 2 racks of singles and they vary from wafers to excellent condition.
Going back to the 5/5 PLO/O8/NLH game tonight for the second time. They were playing with fairly old paper cards last game. Would it be considered too forward to bring a new set up of plastic cards to donate to the game ?

Only if you rip up their old cards and spit on them. Generally, I've found people to stick with things they're comfortable with even when they're inferior products. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't use them right away..and I wouldn't insist that they do. But, if you leave them with your host I bet they'll find their way into the rotation eventually.
Unfortunately, I haven't met a single "paper card" person, who didn't complain about the cards being too slippery when I've introduced a nice setup into the game... Anytime the cards slip, and get away from them, they roll their eyes and say "see?"
Those are the same people who complain about Paulsons because they aren't "official casino weight" because they don't have metal slugs inside
I drank that shit when it was all I could afford and I embraced the "quantity over quality" philosophy. Fuck that.
I've recently have gotten into a few of the IPA's. I like Bell's Two Hearted Ale, Goose Island Endless IPA, or even Sam Adams Rebel IPA. Don't get me wrong. I won't turn down a solid Pale Ale either (just not into wheat beers, but again, I won't turn down a good one).
Actually, my preferred drink is Don Julio "Anejo". That just doesn't fit my budget to drink on a regular basis (or even semi regular basis, lol).

Ever drink any Great Lakes???? If not I highly recommend trying Christmas Ale, Dortmunder, Burning river, or basically any beer that they make lol
@shawn15p , that is a really nice set up. I might have to make a road trip down to play in a game one weekend. Extra couch? Wifey and kids will be driving through on their way to PA next week.
The couch you see in the background is the extra couch lol, and i got a blow up mattress. I am just starting to get games more often, as most of my friends are just casual players.
Sorry if my chips are not up to everyones standards on here lol
nothing wrong with CPS chips. Is your cash set CPS as well?
@shawn15p Both nice chip setups, and an even more impressive table/game room.
Very nice start. (y)
