View attachment 1449872I just poured this about 10-15 minutes ago and all I have done so far is nose it over and over again. WOW! The nose is phenomenal! Removing the cork for the first time pulled out a wave of fresh saltwater air and sweet peat. Very light smoke, very subtle.
After sticking my nose into the glass I get a blast of red fruits and salted toffee. The smokiness gets stronger but it’s sweet and not nearly as strong and in your face like it’s younger brother PC10. I kept getting additional notes each time I went back for a sniff…caramel and vanilla in perfect balance followed by brown sugar bacon and bbq. The cycle repeats and it’s all integrated and not one note is out of place. This is gonna be a treat!
They did a limited release last year and they decided to bring it back this year. I’d love to find one of the 2024s.18? Wow.....I haven't even heard of it. I love the 12!
Got this today, but might let a friend buy it off of me.

Yes, saw 3 bottles on the Shelf in nc. $150
Great pour.
Redbreast 12 Cask Strength and Blue Spot are as deep as you need to go.A very very good pour, can definitely taste the pot still influence, that plus 9yr (min) age statement helps balance out the grape fruitiness.
Would say GTS 24 >> this >>>> EhT Bp 13
Kinda excited to get into Irish now haha, I’m really digging the pot stilled bourbons I’ve had
Mister Sam at retail for me...
Deep, yes. But there are lots of fun bottles just before you get into the heavier hitters. Lots.....Redbreast 12 Cask Strength and Blue Spot are as deep as you need to go.
I wish! Nothing is retail.Mister Sam at retail for me...
My whiskey draft had two of these today. At the top of my list. But I missed.
