I know it’s nothing special, but I’m really enjoying this particular bottle.

Anyone tried the Boone County Wheated Bourbon 7yo Single Barrel?

I wonder how it would compare to the Weller Antique 107... Same tart cherry forward profile?

Yeah, I know it's BT vs MGP but I'm just wondering if it gets close to the 107 profile. I don't think Larceny does and neihter does any MM or Rebel Yell.

I'm very much enjoying comparing all the MM products to each other. No favorite picked out yet, so I have to keep drinking. First world problems! Tonight was my first taste of the 46 Cask Strength. It's tasty.

This is so cool!!! I own a few MM products, I’m going to join you with my regular 46, cast strength, and fae-01 :D

Went to pick up a scarce bottle for a friend, and couldn’t help myself. Been wanting to try this.

The Disco series is a great one, man. BBCo is putting out great stuff with the Disco and the Finishes/Colabs.

For me, they beat bottles going for way, way more than what they cost (they are not cheap tbf). I have not tried the 4 yet though. Looking forward to it.

@JeepologyOffroad is a bad influence.

Such an interesting pour. So much banana Runts candy. The same proof as my OF Single Barrel Barrel Proof, but so much smoother. That Tennessee whiskey charcoal filtering does something.
These were available around me for months. Liquor stores, grocery stores, they all had the barrel proof. Then I guess word got out and within a couple weeks they all disappeared. Jack Daniels made some really good whiskey when they made this Barrel Proof and their Rye Barrel Proof.

It's very good, especially at retail. Haven't had the rye yet. I've seen it for $200 on secondary.

The rye never showed up around me. Not even my well-supplied stores who charge secondary for everything and have good inventory. It was so well-received that I imagine JD is ramping up production of future batches as fast as they can.
