I’m just glad I broke my rule of never buying a second bottle of anything before trying the first one. I knew I’d never see a bottle of this again, so I said F it lolI'm jealous. Love KC. Love ryes. Love high proofs.

I've broken that rule once or twice. It's a good rule.I’m just glad I broke my rule of never buying a second bottle of anything before trying the first one. I knew I’d never see a bottle of this again, so I said F it lol
Being a barely legal rye that sat in a barrel for about 9 years, it could easily be mistaken for a high rye bourbon at first. It drinks way lower than its proof and it’s spicy finish let’s you know it’s a serious rye!I'm jealous. Love KC. Love ryes. Love high proofs.
This is one of my favorite ryes. If you ever see oneAbsolutely fantastic!!! View attachment 736736
Got a bottle myself. It’s nice.
Nah. I got a generous pour to finish a bottle. That’s the new one.Ordered the bottle? That's pretty gangster son!
edit: bottled or barreled? This is one of my favorite ryes. If you ever see one bottled in 2009, grab it! They're even better.
Funny my rule is to not open a bottle until I have three.I’m just glad I broke my rule of never buying a second bottle of anything before trying the first one. I knew I’d never see a bottle of this again, so I said F it lol
My bad, meant barrelled (the year shown on the label)edit: bottled or barreled?
Went to get the bottle that everyone is talking about. Store only had the 2009 in stock. Said they had like 30 cases at one point but down to the last case. Handed back the Weller 107 and grabbed two of those instead.

It’s nice having a neighborhood bar where everyone knows your name, and gives you hugs. They’ve been closed for over a year!
I can’t afford $50/shot. I was thinking of asking them to carry Knob Creek on the bar (they really should already have it) and Booker’s under the bar for me. Or maybe OWA107.Lol, I told mine. PAPPY!!!
Yep, sweet caramel with a spicy finish, enjoy! These guys?

There are some really nice distilleries in seattle, do they stock local bottles like Westland? Not bourbon, but they have a really nice american single malt. So…I let the bartender at my neighborhood bar know that I’ve become something of a bourbon snob. He is as well. He told me to pick a favorite bottle and they will keep it just for me, under the bar. They do it for a bunch of regulars.
The question now is, what do I want them to keep for me?
Ooof, thats rough. Bourbon bottles go with glass shelves almost as well as poker chips cases......
They have Woodinville, which is a good local. There are some really nice distilleries in seattle, do they stock local bottles like Westland? Not bourbon, but they have a really nice american single malt.
Is this like 'you bring them a bottle to keep and pay some kind of 'per pour' fee?'
Or... Huber Starlight BiB Carl T. Bourbon.
Glass shelving (unless very thick, purpose-rated, and well-supported), for anything other than trinkets, is a recipe for disaster.
I don't care if the word gets out, that 100 proof Cooper's Craft is one of the best sub $30 bottles out there.
I have a bottle of dovetail and I hated it.Any one have a bottle of Barrel Seagrass? I had a sample and love it. I’m looking for 2-3 bottles

I may try it again at some point, but unless it does a total 180 I've got no place for it.
