Where you getting gold? I need another
Yeah, in the UK, sorry. Thankfully it stays on the shelves for a while here, as most people here are obsessed with gin, not bourbon.Where you getting gold? I need another
Nothing bad in that picture at allMore acquisitions from small ma and pa store...
Most Willett I've ever seen in a store at once, so grabbed a few and will gift them.
Nicest store manager ever, retail pricing. Fun experience.
He raved about this old forester so strongly, couldn't pass it up.
Since I love WT products and rye, pumped for the RB.

Thoughts? I LOVE it. Dark chocolate cherries, oak, EVERYTHING I want bourbon to be...

It is so fucking good.Stuff makes me MELT on the nose alone
If you don't love it, don't put it in the infinity jar. I'm going to start one, just haven't put pen to paper yet to sort out what I want.
Mine is all KY bourbons. I think it’s good, then I sample what @Big Jilm sends me and I’m blown away. When doing an infinity bottle, i've found that being consistent in what you put in matters a great deal. If you like Bouryes, then blend bourbons and ryes, but if you dont like bouryes then try to stick with bottles you like. Try to keep scotches, especially peated, in a separate infinity bottle. ultimately its only as good as the stuff you put in.
I think Lost Monarch will be the first thing I add, then I can justify adding bourbons AND ryes to the Infinity Bottle. When doing an infinity bottle, i've found that being consistent in what you put in matters a great deal. Still doesn't suck to have a buddy who owns a liquor store...

The only bummer is that I'm trying to kill a bottle or two before opening anything new and my bourbon consumption is down in the summer months.
I've got room for these... or at least, I will quickly make room. PM me if you ever want trades, neighbor.Still doesn't suck to have a buddy who owns a liquor store...

A local ShopRite has both those...for $800 and $400, respectively.Still doesn't suck to have a buddy who owns a liquor store...

Nice to have a friend like yours!
Or in my case, having a mom-n-pop liquor store that can get allocated bottles, knows what I like, and sells at retail.Gross. There are certainly some benefits to living in a state-controlled liquor area.
